I personally would like an option in the default player to download captions in the default player. My provider is usually pretty good about including them on most stuff, but they are missing from time to time and then I have to load it in VLC or some other player that allows me to do this, but then I have to track which episode Iām on and how far along in an episode I am should I ever need to stop mid-episode. Along with this feature Iād really like an option to offset the captions like you can the audio. I donāt know why they didnāt include that because it does happen where itās the correct captions but theyāre off by like 5 to 10 seconds making them unusable.
Also, I would like perhaps an option to download VOD items as sometimes buffering is horrible at certain times. I know most people wouldnāt have a use for this, but I have a 128GB flash drive connected for recordings so Iād like to be able to do this for those random times streaming is buffering every few seconds. Either that, or, they need to incorporate into the player a buffer that loads more if you pause like YouTube does so you can pause it for a while and not have to worry about constant buffers.
iāve noticed that android os systems below android 11 record perfectly with tivimateā¦so i hunted the web for several of them about a yr agoā¦they all record perfectlyā¦even scheduled recordings to a 4TB ssd drive using system picker in tivimateā¦.any android os system above android os 11 seem to be very unreliable for recording as system picker doesnāt work on the majority of the boxes that are higher android osā¦just what i found from testing them and i record tonās of stuff with no problem what so everā¦especially sports when iām not homeā¦never a problem at all
I just wish the favorite button wasnāt so far down the list. On my Tivimax on my Apple itās the 3rd option. A lot less thumbing and time. Especially when setting up a new service.
Comtech brings up an important point. On my M9 Android 14 box, Tivimate will not record to an external drive. However, this must be doable as Sparkle is recording to external.
As a side note, on my X88ProX5M Android 14 box, Tivimate does record to external. The difference is that this box is rooted.
Fix the lag when you first run the app. I canāt change channels for a good 15
I have the BuzzTV P6L and itās Android 13 and shows System Picker and recordings from Tivimate work for me. Well so far.

On mine, I just installed the NVMe drive in the bay and it worked with all the apps.
I tested out a 256 GB SSD as well itās a samsung evo and in a usb case. Worked perfectly. I didnāt buy a Non Volatile memory module to test as I donāt ever record. Thanks for the Info.
Well Iāll be ( I wonāt say )I was going to complain, But I see everybody beat me to it. I never had an issue with Tmate before. Being 80 ainātno fun. I paid for it about a month ago. I still donāt have it. I tried to install it 3 or 4 times. Google gave me a email to get the app from them and Tivi gave me a email to get the app from. I want to see who offers me a refund 1st.
Man thatās such bad luck. No idea why the payment is being a pain. Usually they want your money but do give you your app. I got mine years ago and all I had to do was get the companion app, pay and install.

Thanks> I did get a reply from them saying that my payment was good. But I canāt set anything up. They still only ask me to fill out emails and passwords. I took the time to fill out a M3u service, But everything is locked up like it was before they said I was ok.

I donāt even know what cleared cache and rebooted is. I would like to know this tho. If you had issues and wanted to combine Tivimate and a companion app to see if the issues I have is still there and I can unlock premium app. How does the two come together..

I am sorry. I have seen that photo of the Tivimate Companion a million times. But I have always seen it on my computer. It was always a photo of a commercial to me. It even showed a pic of a NShield saying it was compatible with the Companion. I wondered how much it cost to get one. I donāt know what I should do next.
Id like to see more audio options. Specifically the ability to increase or decrease db by channel. I have some channels that are way quieter or louder than the norm.
