šŸ“ŗ TiviMate Feature Wish-list

Hiya, I would like to see some considerable improvements in the recording results in TiVimate, I have lots of storage ect, but it just seems to be really hit and miss. Sometimes it will stop after 30 minutes and other times it’s okay for hours.

Other times it will say its recorded 60 minutes but no player can play it.

Thanks

A.Elliott

I wish tivimate could develop an android app of phones and tablets. Mytvonline3 is the best player I’ve found so far as far as the look and feel of it. Implayer would be great if you could make changes to some of the default functions as far as menus and such. But a tivimate app for android phones that can be synced would be amazing. I really don’t like implayer on android box due to not being able to configure remote control functions like you can in tivimate. Same about mytvonline on the formular. I guess tivimate has spoiled me.

Definitely agree with Item 2!!! That you save me so much time…

One feature I would like to see is a version made for Android cell phones. Right now, you cannot install TiViMate on a cell phone.

Have all networks in time zone catagory

I’ve set up IPTV for a lot of my family, friends, and former coworkers. All of them are using TiviMate. Saving the settings in the cloud would be my #1 wishlist item. Due to IPTV providers coming and going I’m constantly having to update all of those folks’ devices. I maintain a backup of all of the installations on my server drive but I have to connect their devices to my network to update them. I maintain their Stremio accounts via the internet. It would be great to have the same capability for TiviMate. #2 would be to purchase more than 5 installations in a subscription.

Native Mac version, not one that requires some kind of virtual machine to run. I primarily use it on an ONN box, but I also watch on imac and ipad and I have to use smarters for those, and I think most would agree - smarters is ok, but not even close to Tivimate.

Freeware version is released. Working great on the pc. Free pro version until the 19th.

@teehar Then why does it work with StbEmu and a TV box like DreamLink or Buzz? Clearly there is an issue with Tivimate’s emulation. Don’t get me wrong, I like Tivimate for all it’s features but not being able to know what you’re watching is frustrating.

Tivimate is just a player, problems with sources or EPG etc. are the sole responsibility of the supplier, including coding, server loads, app and device compatibility and so on. Not to mention internet routes and infrastructure. A real challenge to find and resolve supplier issues, even VPN locations matter.

Ditto. I noted my frustration with network recording in an earlier post.

Maybe they don’t need any

How about:

1. A built-in VPN option, that includes a feature to automatically switch to the fastest connection. This would be a whole other source of income for the developer.

  1. The ability to record On Demand.
  2. The ability to rename the devices in my account as well.

@Miki I understand Tivimate is just a player. So is StbEmu. Again, full EPG with StbEmu but not with Tivimate with the same provider … so what’s the difference? Both players operates within the same environment.@hotwheels Yes, issues with stalkers portal EPG.

You will have to ask the supplier. It’s their service and we can’t see what they do or don’t do. Wish I could.

Add a continuous recording function. Be able to specify the buffer time (10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour) in the menu, so that you can rewind if the ISP or channel does not allow it.

YES! to the above.

in addition: ability to manage devices. I need to remove devices- maybe im missing it….
