You can probably power the sticks from your TV but I wouldn’t be sure about the boxes (and very unlikely the new 4k pro).
The power supply for the new 4K Pro looks similar to the one for the 4K Plus. However, the Pro version is 10 watts whereas the Plus is 7.5.
I was able to secure the last one at my store. I haven’t set it up yet. I’ll likely work on it this weekend.
Since firestick is worthless now they raised the price way up.
Correct, the (new) 4k Pro is 5v/2a while the 4k plus is 5v/1.5a

Yes, indeed! But go to the 4k Pro page on the Walmart website, and then switch through all your local Walmarts and check the “Shipping” option. That’s how I’ve been able to get a couple of 4k Plus and 4k Pro boxes this week.

I hope the new version doesn’t change the settings so you can’t find any of the settings we use for setting up the developer options. I had to do a factory reset on my ONN 4K Pro box. After it was done everything was changed. There was no way to get developer working like we did normally. The downloader opened fine without the developer being turned on. The good news is when I installed your launcher manager it forced it to go to the developer options. After that it shows developer on the list. However, there are several other lists not showing I used to have. Pretty scary. Hope they are not getting ready to stop the use of developer.
Something not right with your device. Dev Options still works on all Onn devices including V2 Pro box.

So those of you that have the V2, is it worth buying? It seems the x88 Pro like Troy did the Slimbox video on has the same processor, can be had with 4gb/64gb, 1000m ethernet port, and when I bought mine back in September they were $55. It seems to work very well, probably better than my Onn Pro v1, and honestly on par with the AM8.
I have no need for another device, but it is nice playing around with them.
Until this week, I’d have said just get the 4k Plus. However, since Sam jacked up the price another $10.00, I’d go for the Pro now. Yes, I think its the best device for the money.
I agree with your line of thinking. I have both and the only advantage for me is that the 4k pro v2 supports dolby vision and hdr10+ although finding content that plays natively in those formats is a challenge. I’m not sure if my eyes can even tell a difference but I just like knowing I have the best possible picture on my new TV… imo though the x88 prox5m with slimboxtv is the best overall box out there. I too like you got mine when they were much cheaper. Back then that box at $55, couldn’t beat it.
