I am new to this but have been affected by Amazon’s restricting certain APK’s. I read on-line that the restriction is within the Amazon software used during the installation of the APK’s and the installation process, in other words Downloader. If this is the case how does simply using an Onn device mitigate the problem if we are still installing the APK’s with the software.
It isn’t in Downloader. No bad code in it. Not sure where you got this. The affect of blocking or removing unverified apps is the sole purview of Amazon and their Fire OS. The code is theirs. No way AFTVnews would use adverse code.

Just be careful with your measurements. The internal width of the case I linked to is 3.7” across. The one you linked to above only has 3.01” of internal width. That nearly 3/4” is a fairly big difference. As my prior pictures show, the Onn 4K Plus takes up nearly the entire width of the 3.7” case I am using.

Hey, has anyone found a phone ONN remote control app like we used to have with the Firesticks? I took my ONN on the road once but forgot the remote…functionally useless.
I would suggest using the Google Home app as that has a remote control feature I believe. Been awhile since I’ve used it but from memory it’s in there.
