I always buy a spare when buying economy streaming boxes. I brought my 2nd ONN 4K last year when they were $5 off. Lol, I still have a new 4K Max firestick.
I bought 2 of each model last yr but only using the 4K for now
I have 6 4K max in their original boxes. Thank heavens I didn’t pay for them.

They knew exactly what would happen, they were pressured by the MPAA, NAB, RIAA, and other media companies to curb piracy. I’m sure they also got some nice incentives and kickbacks.

You should be able to apply the exploit to those assuming have a router that you can change the firewall settings.

@Miki IDK if you have your own router or not, but Asus (& TP-Lnk, IIRC) have apps for both Android & IPhones that allow you to adjust any setting that you want.
My 2 Fire TV 2nd Gen boxes have been shelved for 6 months. I only have 2 TVs and they are of no use.

Unfortunately This Modem os owned by my ISP. I can get into the admin setup to change mt WiFi channel and to change my password to what I want so they can’t get onto Admin level but can’t modify or add apps, vpn etc. I can, of course get a seperate Router but as there is just the wife and I, I have the VPN configured on each device. 5 total so not a big deal.
So, what’s the NEXT BEST VALUE box if the Onn is impossible to get?
My 3 local wallys have had Onn sticks and 4k Plus aplenty, but no Pro’s for months
Good afternoon I have an Onn 4K box but it’s geo restricted I live in The Bahamas I tried just about all Avenues to get it unlocked nothing happens from VPN and so on nothing happens can you assist me with this matter please
@itzme The $29.88 PLUS is what I found sold out. There are so many little nuances of this device you gotta watch carefully.
If you have a VPN connect to a USA server on your phone. Turn on WiFi hotspot on your phone. Connect to that hotspot on your Onn 4K Android TV Box during setup so it thinks you are coming from United States. Once you have completed setup you should be good to go and don’t need to do anything moving forward.
