Walmart Onn Streaming Boxes Sell Out as Many Ditch Fire TV

No problem. I snagged some ONN boxes that work great.

The 4K Plus has the same memory as the regular 4K but less than the Pro. The CPU in the 4K Plus is better than the 4K and the Pro

Just my two cents but as long as you don’t need the latest and greatest, you can pick up plenty of Formuler Z10’s and BuzzTv boxes on Ebay for less than$50 USD which I believe is what Onn’s go for. I love picking up quality boxes for low cost!

I just checked Walmart’s website and saw that they have a few Onn 4K Plus devices in stock. I ordered 2 (as backups). They are still showing that they have 6 left in stock. FYI

i live in the st louis,mo area and still plenty of them on both the missouri and illinois wallyworlds

glen carbon ,illinois walmart has ton’s of all of them

none of my local walmarts here in Canada have onn they sell out but I am keeping a look out .Looked online all they have is the onnstick with small storage, I bought a google streamer box it has 32gb all i got to do is set it up. .

Nothing here in central NC or southern VA! Quite a few available in central CA (Sacramento area).

They have them in my area (Minneapolis/St. Paul) but the area Wally’s all say, “Low Stock” for both the Plus and the Pro. I suggest if this is the case with your store, to call ahead, and if they do have them, they’ll probably put one aside for you. Another possibility is they do not have them in stock despite the “Low Stock” claim, and you’ll save yourself a trip by calling.

Just snagged a couple 4k plus little “pucks” and had em on my front porch within the hour! My Kids are so SPOILED I tell ya. (I love it!)

I love Walmart+. I haven’t shopped it in person in a long time

Just a thought. I needed a new TV anyway, so bought a TCL 65” google TV. 529.00 at Costco) Setting it up is exactly like setting up a ONN box. No need for a box when you have this baby. Another advantage is you can save the cost of a box as your TV is your box. 22GB of usable storage after set up. I’ve had it two weeks and really like it. So when your ready for a new TV, and you are a streamer, keep this little tip in mind.

My son has a TCL 65" he got 3.5 years ago. It seams to run Stremio and Tivimate pretty well. The one he has doesn’t play HDR content very well (too dark). The newer tv’s are supposed to have better HDR performance.

My main point was the advantage of the google tv aspect, not the specific brand of TV. I’m sure there are google tv’s out there that will fit most everyones personal needs, likes and budget. I just wanted to bring to attention that google tv’s may be a good option over the traditional smart tv.

I had one Onn 4K Plus on the back TV and decided I was going to get rid of the Firestick 4K w/only 8G ram and replace it with another Onn 4K Plus, Walmart was out. I decided to get one of of Amazon that was Android 14 and 64G ram. I came in, I programmed it and immediately it had problems coming on and off, definitely a defect. Sent in back, checked Walmart local store, no go, but they were showing 1 and it could be delivered tomorrow from who knows where? So I ordered it, now it’s showing that they have 5 so they get them in and out on a daily basis!!!

This is interesting about the onn 4k pro box.

I like that my ONNs are portable. Take it to friends and on the road. So small and portable. Hard to take the 65” with you lol.

Also probably much easier to get updates and to “super-charge”.

Another advantage of the ONN box it will runs smoother, faster, and with less lag than many budget Smart Google TV’s.

Right - the portability of these devices is a great benefit. I grabbed this inexpensive case off of Amazon which is a perfect fit for the Onn Plus and is my travel setup. Fits like a glove.

Do you ever get delayed by TSA in Airports wanting to make sure it’s not a Bomb?

Pretty slick. Mine usually get shoved into a shoe.
