Tried NTFS on thumb drive , Onn Pro still don’t see it
Sorry to hear that. Im sure its annoying. I dont use Tubi but when I long press the continue watching i have the option to “hide”. Not sure why you don’t.
Have you tried to restart the box?

Thank you for responding. I just uninstalled the app and installed again. I also, noticed that the center button doesn’t always pause video. This box remote is not that great. I’m not happy. Quite a few things that annoy me about this device. I love the 32gb of storage. Hoping there will be a different compatible cheap remote will be shared, so I can purchase on. Lol, it will increase my overall cost.
Awhile back I asked TXRon if he had tried the ONN Universal remote on the new box. He said that he had not but found that the Ugoos bt remote successfully. I think that that remote run around $10.
I am really fussy about remotes and the new ONN pro remote doesn’t fit my OCD. 
I might purchase one to try it out. I going to give this remote a week or two to get use to it first. However, I like the 4K Max firestick remote alot better.

Sorry to hear about the problems. If you can, try to return it. Maybe you got a bad one? I havent had any problems with my remote.
Just received my Onn 4k Pro. It came with the backlit remote. This is a big post for me, it’s my first! I’ve spent time combing through many posts and videos here, and will continue to do so. Big thanks to Troy for making it all possible. So glad I found you guys. Wednesday I’ll have the time to jump in, by first following Troy’s video in getting the Onn set up, etc. etc. and etc… wish me luck!

Try to pair the Max remote with the Onn.

Try pairing the 4K Maxx remote to your onn box. I don’t have the Onan box but I was able to pair my 4K Maxx to my shield Pro. A lot better remote.

I fixed it on my lg tv in settings instead. It’s old and I literally fixed it in minutes. I could not find the setting either like they have in the firestick.
Thats a good ideal, will give 4k Max remote a try with ONN 4K Pro. I’ll try to pair remote next week. I’m exhausted from the setup and loading of the apps.

Sourball, I believe you’re right. I just got my Onn Pro device a few days ago (ordered from Walmart.com) and it has the Free TV button and the backlit remote. Everybody (that I have seen) that got the remote without the Free TV button said that the remote didn’t have the backlight.
I have both of the older model ONN boxes and one thing that I like with the Pro model is that virtually all of the folders (viewed in X-Plore) are not write protected. I use both Cyberflix and Cinema HD for watching TV shows, with a slight preference for Cyberflix. However, on the older boxes, I can’t easily move the Prefs, Fav, & watched_eps files from my old device, since the folder where they need to go (CyberFlixTV/Backup) is write protected. I have much more flexibility with the new Pro model.

Not successful adding storage to either my onn 4k or onn pro. Using scan disk n 2 others , formatted fat32 n ntsb .Think I followed TP to the "“T”. Was succesful tho in resetting onn 4k to factory after it bricked. Count my blessings 
Any ideas ?
In North Chicago (Hawthorn Woods) the Walmart stores here have dozens of them available. Picked one up for $35 since the box had been opened.

Thanks for the review. Just wondering if anyone has gotten the remote to power off/on two devices simultaneously?
I seem to be able to only get remote to work on one device at a time.
Yes. My remote tuns on my tv and sound bar with one push of the power button. Both are samsung so maybe that is why. Not sure? You did set up the remote to work with both devices, right?
Also i can say Hey Google open kodi and it turns on the tv/sound bar and kodi in the onn pro all in one command.

I seem to be able to pair with Samsung TV and bose sound but can only power on/off one or the other. I guess I will start over…
