Hi @TXRon,

Tried to send you a DM, but system said you are not accepting messages. Question: Should I not allowed usage tracking access on apps? I thinkng I should disallow. What are your thoughts?

depends on the app, in general I allow for apps like tivimate, rouge apps no

I will allow you direct messages, just need to add you. … added

Should be in settings under “display/picture”…“screen”

And Dangerous you are M’aam! Congrats on your accomplishment. It’s still fun and exciting for me whenever I setup a new box too. Most of the time, afterwards, its immediatley off to the “Backups” Drawer, (or in my case a big covered tote) as I only have so many TV’s! Thats why this time I Positively stated I was going to resist the FOMO and not get a new ONN 4K. But Lo and behold, as fate would have it, My daughter bought me one as a surprise. Its still sitting on the Bench waiting to be “slayed into submission” like all those before it. VICTORY SHALL BE MINE!!!

Hi @Reece,

I’m still using my 4k max as my main device. But, I like having the additional storage on this ONN 4k pro. Its going to take a little time before it becomes one of my main box.

I just need to figure out a way to get my gifted IPTV service on this box. Its on my firestick. I searched google and didn’t find any help.

Thanks for the encouragement

Sorry. Help with what?

my onn says it can;t reach the internet

The first thing to try is to shut it off. Then unplug the power cord on it. Wait for say 5 minutes, plug it back in and start it up and see if it connects to your WiFi. Someone else suggested going to the Gear :gear: Gear icon and clicking it, that should take you to settings and then find “Network” and make sure the button beside WiFi is turned on. Troy has a setup guide.

The Back lit remote is a little funky to use the Ring is much lower than a Fire stick so it can be difficult to use without hitting the center Select button or vice or versa. Takes a little getting used to but so far as a F-Sticks only user for 7 years I am still liking this box a lot!

Thank you for the great initial review! I bought mine the other day to use at our off-grid cabin and using NetShare to tether my cell connection, which has been working very well.

I did try to use PdaNet, but the system kept coming up with an Android error whenever I tried to connect to the PdaNet hot spot within the PdaNet app.

So far, I think the box works well. Mne seems to lag a bit and is not as responsive as yours. I will need to check my storage and other things to see if I can speed that up.

One thing I don’t like is not being able to easily get to all of my apps. Having to go through settings and several clicks is a bit of a pain.

So far, everything else seems to be working well on my mine. Oh, and I have the same remote you do. No “Free TV” button or anything else.

Thanks again,
Andy

I believe the remote with the free tv is backlit while the other non free button tv is not.

Set my Onn pro up per TP vid, almost flawlessly. Only issue : tried 2 different flasdrives, both formatted fat32 w/ rufus. ( scan disc ) no bueno. No workee. Help please
