In my opinion Hdr or hdr +10 looks just as good if not better than Dolby vision. To me DV is too dark. Just sayin
I canât honestly say as Iâve never had a DV capable TV, but the HDR10 or HDR10+ is awesome. Took me a while to set up the Shield Pro for best picture and sound.
It will work fine and to be honest I expected that from ugoos and normally I just het another adaptor.

Mine arrived with correct EU plug, and they threw in a universal travel adaptor.

Agreed. I prefer HDR 10 +, to dolby. Works fine for me on my Sony TV.
Do you get an onscreen notification that states that. Or how do you determine whether it has upscaled or not?

To be honest I wasnt looking for it just yet but after I installed projectivy launcher it showed at the bottom of settings as seen in that pic, so I enabled it and I must say this picture is awesome on my cheapo roku tvâŚand I dare say better than myâŚwell I better not 
My tv is a 1080p and it shows that in the resolution settings and its set to best avaliable with a framerate buffer of 3840 x 2169
after I clicked on that 4k button it had me reboot the box
Mine is a 4k tv. I used smartube and a 4k video and this is what i got when clicking the dev options wheel.
Dont quite know what you mean by clicking the 4k button.
its just an option that showed on the projectivy launcher screen. I did root the box as they claim the launcher has more options offered after root. ? dunno if thats why but the launcher did ask me to grant root.

Here is another issue when connected to Lan cable. My speeds are fibre optic 965 download and 265 upload.
But when i use my iptv on catchup or live, i occasionally get " no internet connection" flash up on the screen. If i click the ffwd bar by a minute or so, the programme continues.
And so, back to my Minix and no such issues in iptv and same programmes.
It is very sporadic. Hopefully Ugoos will take my email comments on board.
very strange. Ive seen no issues with tv or any video. Im using tivimate and channelsdvr. Thats all ive installed for viewing. Been watching a ball game and now a recording. I have my homerun tuners, iptv subs and philo all up.

Maybe reset to factory and reboot router.
I will think about it before doing anything.
OhâŚone other thing. System update does nothing when i click on it. Screen goes black and then back to where i was.
Maybe because there are no updates yet.

By the way, i have just done wi fi speeds on 5g and 2.4 g âŚpathetic. 5g 30mbps and 2.4gâŚ129mbps.
And the router is less than a metre from the Ugoos device. Ethernet speedsâŚ965mbps!
