Track Your Parcel Delivery Status. Powered by AfterShip.

Just found this on different shipping tracker 4px.

At least it’s moving:grinning::+1:

Obviously it was allocated a tracking number on 21 August, some 3 days after my order. Alrhough another tracking site states, shipped 21 August.

Obviously a glitch, considering they had no stock on 21 August, or so they saidđŸ™đŸ»

Mine has arrived 10kms away. Cannot get hold of their office to see when it will be delivered to my house. Bit like waiting for Christmas, when i was a kid.

Just arrived. Now for some fun.:+1:

Congrats, mine is set for delivery today

You’ll have to let us know how it is. Mine arrives within the next 2 weeks.

Spent a few hours setting it up. Pretty impressive. I thought my minix u22xj max was good. Might be my imagination, but the picture seems better.

I am using wolf launcher and phase beam wallpaper, which i have always used.

Using their launcher is fine until you change font and also display size. And that creates some issues on their home screen. Doesnt affect Wolf Launcher.

Few other niggles, but nothing to bother me right now.

Maybe you can advise me. Should Automatic Frame Rate, be on or off.

It is off by default.

Regards

You might want to look at the you tube review by chigz. He goes through settings quite quickly. But i picked up a couple of good tips for settings.

Gimme a chance to dig thru before I offer help . I would think that setting should be on but its off by default for a reason. Maybe resource intense
dunno. This box has ai upscaling and I believe the shield was off by default
we will see.

Sure
no probs. Googled all i could, but couldnt find a definitive answer. No hurry whenever you get the time👍

Auto Framerate>>
It prevents uneven, somewhat jerky playback caused by displaying of 24 fps content on 60 hz screen. You can see it in scenes with long even motion, e.g. flight, camera panning, scrolling.

Cheers Miki.

Watched a soccer match for a few minutes and now watched an episode of Berlin Station. No issues there, so i guess i will leave it be for now

Still trying to get my head around AI on this device and what it means and how does it function.

Early days yet, I’ll get there in good time.

Personally I always have AFR on. It’s one of the most important settings of any streaming box for me. Being from the UK, most of my streams are at 25 or 50 FPS yet my TV defaults to 60. AFR sets the framerate of the TV to the framerate of the content you are watching, which makes playback a lot smoother. It’s a must for any live sport. Recommend you have it on.

Edit: Formuler have not implemented AFR correctly (yet) on their Z11 Pro series, which is why I have returned that device for an AM8

long story short is ai upscalling is exactly that or a better picture from a lesser picture. :face_with_monocle:

AFR I have enabled on my Shield Pro although on mine it’s called Match frame rate (beta), but even without, I’ve only ever noticed 1 source on a sporting event that gave me the occasional jerky frame.

@JimmyBarry

Many thanks. Great explanation.

My setup is:
3480 X 2160 59.940 Hz
YUV 422 12- bit Rec. 2020
HDR10 Ready
No Dolby Vision as my TV is a Samsung and they only do HDR10 or HDR10+
Also my Shield only shows 60Hz max and not 120Hz even though my system is capable of 120Hz and I believe that’s only because I have not yet dug into the advanced settings in my HDMI section on the TV. Still tuning the Shield for best Audio & Video but think I’m done. The Dolby Audio Processing is amazing.

I think you must have misunderstood me. I USE to drop down to 720 and let it upscale. Now I only use 1080 or 4K as my QN65S95C with my Q990C soundbar handles 1080 and 4K flawlessly in HDR10 OR HDR10+. Samsung doesn’t use Dolby Vision but does handle dolby Audio. But HDR with Dolby Audio is awesome. Talk about home theater. One small mistake I made was not buying stands to get the surround sound rear speakers about 3 feet off the ground.
