Hello, I’ve search for a tivimate review to see if it’s worth the 30-something charge, but I can find a review from Troy or anyone else on YouTube.
Can I use it with an IPTV provider to substitute a stabbing service such as YouTube TV or Hulu with Live TV.
Please direct me to a video or let me know if it will allow series recordings that I’m searching for.

YES. You can use it for a IPTV provider.
It works well.
It tends to (at times) leave a blank space after entering M3U or Xtreme codes when you enter you IPTV. Double check for it if your info “LOOKS” perfect but will not connect…check for it for user name and server and password. It has tripped me up a few times. (blank space is an extra character to the server…)

TiviMate uses M3U or Xtreme code connections.
This means it can use free tv if you have a list.
Miki is the expert on this as well as a few others here. Search for M3U or Xtreme code lists here or on GitHub.
It really is used for paid IPTV.

I use it. I have tried about 5 others that are highly rated.
Other than recordings are .ts format (works with MX Player and not VLC)…it works well.(I wish other formats were available…someone chime in here if they know of another option)
Smarters Pro seems like B+ grade copy. Most Player look alike and have most but not the ‘exactly’ same features.

You need to say what device you are using because recording will need storage.

Tivimate should add the tag lime…You’ve tried the rest, now use the best.

I’ve been using it for a few years and This year they finally had a few updates. It has a lot of good features and a chat line where you can get quick answers to any problems. I highly recommend it!

I prefer XCIPTV…does what I need and it’s free…simple interface & auto loads guide each start-up

If you don’t need or want advanced options and it works for you that’s really all that matters.

Not all IPTV providers will work on Tivimate. Check with you provider first.
