You may want to give sparkle a try. Many have reported that it records better than tivimate.

For it to auto retry channels later on. Letā€™s say I leave the house and I leave on a TV show for my dog. If the channel goes down, it will retry 5 times real quick. But I want it to keep retrying until I say stop. Sometimes it takes longer for a channel to come back up. Please make my dog happy. He doesnā€™t have thumbs.

Hi hotwheels, Iā€™d love to give XM a try, but Iā€™m having an issue creating an accountā€¦ I choose a username and password, hit next, and I get an admin error of some type. Does this site require an invite? Thanks :blush:

I would like tivimate to be able to show subtitles on vod (opensubtitles) like it does on sparkle tv its a really cool feature since many movies donā€™t have subtitles.

Tivimate is great for live TV but not really very good for VOD. For those I recommend Kodi or Stremio, which have way more options and info on the VOD.

AI upscaling without causing buffering, stuttering, or dropped frames.

I have seen comments on this before but I would love to see Trakt as a feature on Tivimate. This way when I go from device to device I donā€™t have to keep reloading favorites.

There are a few improvements I would love to see:

  1. Scheduled Recordings
  2. A Windows Version and possibly a Linux version
  3. Support for HTSP (TVHeadEnd) backend tuning and recording
    Note: this option works great in Sparkle and Kodi
  4. EPGā€™s a more granular way to update individual EPGā€™s
    If you have multiple custom playlists defined (custom .m3u) you cannot update a single EPG easily.

This is still my goto player although Sparkle is not badā€¦ If Sparkle had better multi-pane viewing it would be a serious contender.

Yes, and I and other users of Mecool devices have found the ā€œpickerā€ doesnā€™t show up at all in Mecool devices and seems to be cumbersome method to record to external storage in the first place. Iā€™m not much of a recorder so I still love my TiviMate. Particularly that you pay one reasonable fee for a lifetime of Premium. Pay and donā€™t worry about it again.

  1. Please allow sync of Shows and Movies My List to all TVs

  2. Allow more than 5 devices in premium account

  3. Change pricing and remove free tier. Tier 1 is all functionality at 5 per month.

More consistent EPG. No EPG with some providers. No issues at all with StbEmu. Iā€™ve stopped using Tivimate because of this. Iā€™ve paid for the premium version.

thatā€™s not a tivimate issue mate, thatā€™s a provider issue. If you have a provider with a good epg then you will see the epg fully populated on tivimate or any other iptv player.

You have all covered my desires. Number One is to increase the limit OR make it easier to establish an additional account.

I would like to see a built-in channel logo search function and an add feature that can maybe search the web for channel logos. Maybe also add a way for users to add local channel logos for others to use in the same area. Instead of having to add them to a USB drive or something.

You can download logo packs and use the Logo settings feature>
settings, Playlists, click on any playlist, scroll down and click Logos priority. Now you can choose a folder that you downloaded. Or go to>
settings>Appearance>Logos where you can also select ā€œLogos folderā€ if you have downloaded a folder of logos from the internet.
