I modded an original Xbox and put XBMC on it when it was is it’s infancy. I used Kodi up until earlier this year. It was my go to for all of my entertainment.
I have officially removed kodi from all of my streaming devices and made the switch to Stremio. It’s so much more user friendly. The UI is easier. Configuration is easier. Reliability is better. It’s a perfect all around powerhouse.
I’m new to Stremio, just downloaded it using Troy’s video. So far, a lot of the movies and series I watch on Kodi for free (using real debrid) show up in Stremio for viewing on pay for service sites like apple tv or Amazon. Do I need to customize my setup so I can view non pay programming? In Kodi, when I’m using umbrella or fen lite, all the available content is free and you have a choice to add on premium links like real debrid to eliminate buffering and more links to choose from. Like I said, I’m new to Stremio so how do I unlock the no fee portion of the site and does it require additional add-ons like Kodi to accomplish this?
WatchHub Find that in your addons and uninstall it. Then the paid links should disappear.
Ok, did that Miki and now no streams are available for a specific TV series I’m using as a comparison to Kodi. How do I add a premium account like real debrid to add links for viewing?
Watch this and read the description, you should be getting series and movies ad free if installed correctly. Troy also explains using Real Debrid either in this video or somewhere else on here.
I like Troy point, Keep Kodi as a backup, but I agree. I prefer stremio over K. It is simpler. However, my go to # 1 the last six months or so is syncler. I use it with real debrid and it is 98% flawless. I pay a few bucks for Sinclair plus and it gives me up to 10 devices for 8 months. Really? Really cheap. I’m interested to see what say you guys ???
Kodi has more free , more Canadian and easier.
Not sure what you mean. Stremio is free from start to finish.
I’ve tried Stremio 3 times and just didn’t care for it. I’m a huge Kodi fan for sure. Does everything I want in a platform.

Hi sure stremio is , but every vod I looked at I was directed to Apple pay , Google pay, you tube pay, Amazon pay extra I even got an api key . Only US channels from TVpass.org was free no UK or Canadian channels.
You don’t have the add-ons configured properly. Use the site search and watch the vids on setting up Stremio.
Find vid on adding “ bootstrapper” to stremio. You’ll love it.
But again, what do you guys say bout Syncler ? I think it’s “ da bomb digitty” !!! I’m surprised more folks aren’t givin it trial run.

I think the reason there are not more Syncler users is you can get the same content for free on KODI or Stremio. KODI user for almost a decade and there is no way I’d ever consider paying for something like Syncler when I can get it on KODI
