Yes, Stremio is much faster and more convenient. Kodi can do things that Stremio can’t but for most tasks, it’s not necessary.

Hey Troy why are you referencing 2 Addons that have been gone for at least 7 years? There are plenty of functioning Addons (Umbrella and Fenlite) just to name a few.

Stremio. Agree with @sktn77a much faster and convenient. I only use Kodi for MMA/Boxing replays with Debrid service.

We are referencing Exodus and Covenant as those were probably the most popular addons ever made that most people would identify if they used Kodi in the past. We’re trying to get across the point that all good Kodi addons and builds usually go away. We really haven’t seen that yet from Stremio.

That is why I quit Kodi. I would get all excited about an addon and then it was gone. This happened over and over again. Been using Stremio since @Miki recommended long time ago and love it.

Back in the day when Kodi was really popular. That was my go to streaming app. Now it’s stremio it works good. And a good choice of addons to try

Zenon is not mentioned. I use it and Kodi and am very satisfied.

Stremio is great, but if you are a kodi fan then it’s decent too.
That said… If and that’s a big if, I were to set up my friends or family with a service it would be stremio because of the ease of use.

As I’ve stated in other threads, I don’t think the two apps are designed with completely the same purposes in mind.
Stremio, Kodi as a backup just in case

I have been using Kodi and Fen lite and really enjoy watching anything that I am interested in. I have not had any problems and do not see any need to improve my television time. I have an OTA antenna that plays all my local stations. Thanks for all your help and suggestions. Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year
