Kodi does fine with live tv. Stremio used too till the updates started early February. Which is why I rolled back stremio and it works great. The updates have made it to where I can only hear it after 15 seconds. I have downloaded a player and that doesn’t seem to help. I will look into the iptv. I’m old and trying to figure things out lol.
But Kodi has not worked well with live TV. Never has on any Devs setup, or Stremio. They both have always had live TV issues. I only use them for VOD.
When I try to download the Troypoint Toolbox, 250931, I get an error message: net::ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED.
Any help would be appreciated.

Curious what KODI Addon(s) you are seeing that play Live TV good and consistently. About 5-6 years ago the CREW Live TV was awesome for a very long time. Then it went away. That is when I went to IPTV for my Live TV
I have diggz and thetvapp they both work fine for me. I get some buffering in the evening when everyone comes home and uses the internet. Other than that they have been good for me. I’m now looking into the iptv and hopefully can figure it out.
Just need an IPTV player like TiVimate and an IPTV sub and you’re g2g.

I never used Bootstrapper or TorBox and Stremio is working fine for me?
I did the same until I got fed up with buffering and movies taking forever to play. You can certainly use stremio without debrid but won’t be as good.
I find Stremio very “buggy” while having to select several torrents before I cn get one to play. Then, often times after it loads, it will not play on the default player, or the VLS player. So I downloaded MXPro which usually works one I select it. This is a lot of BS to have to go thru to watch a show. The worse culprit is LIVE TV. I cannot seem to find a decent addon for LIVE TV other than USA TV, which as you stated has it’s own set of problems. So if anybody can point out a good LIVE TV addon, that would be helpful.
As has been mentioned many many times. Stremio and Kodi are not the best for live tv. As far as the rest goes, I have, and use, Stremio daily for Movies and Series and have no problems at all with watching any of them. Oddly enough for years now Turn it on, look what’s available in my library, pick an episode or a movie, choose a source and watching a 4K HDR in under a minute. Does it take learning, most assuredly. Is it worth it. Hmmm let me see, free, yup, more free, absolutely and then forever free, darn straight. Stremio or Kodi, allways the best. And then there are Troy’s videos and tutorials. Read, watch learn, rinse and repeat. Didn’t get it the first time? Well what do you know, it’s still there to do all over again. Pen and paper out, make notes, read, watch, learn and suddenly it all becomes clear, and just with a modicum of effort. Have you saved money? Well look at your cable bill for a year and you tell me.

IPTV was one of the best decisions I made. I went with Strong 8K and had to learn how to search and assign an EPG to a channel. Got my favorites setup and haven’t use thetheapp since. There hasnt been a game I haven’t seen buffer free yet on IPTV.

You don’t download the Toolbox, you access it on the Downloader app….
I have the new Streamio app installed on my Computer, but when I try to play a movie I get the access denied, check to see if you have a debrid account. I have real debrid, checked and it’s paid up for another 4 months but still cannot get Streamio to work.
i’m sure I have missed something in the set up, but can’t find it. HELP
It’s Stremio. Not sure what you’re missing, but what addons have you enabled woth your debrid API key?
Easiest way for me has been using the Stremio Bootstrapper that Troy shows in a few vids.
Sounds like you may be using Stremio without a debrid provider. Connect Stremio to Torbox and that will solve your problems.
