@TROYPOINT If you install Bootstrapper after installing Torbox addon it will delete Torbox addon. Then will need to be add it again.

You can also use the Torbox integration settings in Nuvio too. It works the same as it does in Stremio.

Thanks @dogg5150 Not sure what happened there. I will take a look at this again and just show to install the extra Stremio addon in the Bootstrapper.

Got a new 4k plus Onn tv box. Installed stremio. Had a problem getting anything to stream. Found out needing the torrent add on. We successfully got the torrent app on the PC, actually my Ipad. We were getting torrents for movies on the Ipad, but the app did not transfer over to the tv. What am I doing wrong now. Confused again We logged out of stremio and logged back in but nothing transferred over

I made a bunch of changes to my Stremio on my PC and opened Stremio on my Onn and it did not give me the QR Code that Troy shows to link the changes to the box. The add ons did not match what I had on my PC.

I force closed Stremio on my Onn, cleared cache, went back into Stremio on my Onn and it then gave me the QR Code to link the PC changes to the Onn. I don’t know much about Stremio but when I did not get the QR code, I knew it wasn’t going to link and match my PC. Linking is the key I think.

@dogg5150 I think you mentioned that if you use Bootstrapper, then torrentio links will no show up. I reinstalled Bootstrapper today following along with Troy’s video and indeed I did not see any torrentio links.

What’s the fix for that? I tried installing the torrentio add on AGAIN and still no torrentio links.

Got frustrated and smashed the box so I no longer have to worry about it.

Joking :smiley:, what’s the trick to making torrentio links show up with Bootstrapper? Thanks @TROYPOINT and Dog.

My issue was Surfshark location. Just had to change location.

Thanks for pointing this out. I have updated video and it is now available through the link above that goes to our website. The reason it appeared to work in that video is because I was logged into a different Stremio account that already had TorBox addon setup. I should have known better that it wipes everything…been through that a hundred times. Thanks again.

You’re not actually linking your Onn streamer to your PC - you’re logging into your Stremio account on their server which then syncs all of the content and permissible settings on each of your devices. Different devices may have different permissible settings (for example, you can’t use an external player on the PC app).

I’m unable to subscribe to TorBox. Get the message “No Payments Accepted from your IP Address”. This continues with or without VPN. I’ve never experienced this before!

I’ve never used Stremio up until last week when I was bored and wanted to try it to see what it was about. I used the TvBro browser to search for add ons and added them right from there. One option was direct add to app, another was copy url and a third I don’t recall. Pretty simple

@sktn77a Thank you, I was using my “PC” as a generic equivalent to their cloud server so my apologies for not being more clear.

The good news is that I continued to dink and dunk with Torrentio not showing links and it appears to be working properly now. It was a Surfshark issue as Dog shared. I KNOW that Surfshark is often the cause of my problems but it was set on a server that always works but it was NOT WORKING lately even on that server. Every day is a new adventure lately in my Stremio.

@MountainSufi Perhaps try a different browser or try from a phone or a tablet.

This can happen for a few reasons.

  • VPN active
  • Ad blocker on
  • Using Incognito private browsing

Is it a Surfshark problem or a Torrentio problem? Torrentio appears to be blocking some Surfshark servers, which would suggest the latter.
