I would think most of the time every recorded show you need a separate connection. So record two shows you need two connections. If you want to watch it third at the same time then you probably need three.

You can record one stream while watching another. No way to record 2 different streams at the same time
You can do this without any issue.
Setup network storage and those recording will be able to all your devices.

I will have to do another test now as Iâm pretty certain I can record say 3 shows at the same time while watching a fourth in Tivimate, as long as my service has 4 connections, and I have a fast enough internet speed to handle the load. As soon as I get the chance Iâll give it a go and get back to ya. Well that was an epic fail. I thought I had 4 connections on my sub. Apparently not. Only 1 so canât give it a go. Damn I wanted to test this out. Oh well on to the next thing to learn. Have a buffer free day ppl.

Formular Z-12 Ultra is now setup waiting on ab to try that stuff out.
I read about the problem getting the volume intergrated? working properly and I do have my TVâs volume now working via the Formuler Remote but my TV is still identified as a Samsung even though it is a Sony Bravia Oled. Doesnât seem to make a difference, so far, but makes me a little worried. 
If there is a way to change the TV designation I would appreciate the tip. Cheers!
I bought the Z12 a couple weeks ago and just got around to installing it. I followed Troys video and was very impressed with it and with the result. MyTV3 looks amazing and my trial runs so far with Amber B iptv software has been flawless. I especially like the rewind function on MyTV3. That for us is a game changer. Still a ways to go to get it fully configured but so far so good. Thanks Troy.

Is there not a way to control the tv volume without using the side buttons on the BT3? It only controls the formuler box volume and not the TV. I tried the STB mode with CEC and it worked but was very laggy. Was more so hoping it would work similar to the ONN remotes?

Just now setting up my Z12, why canât this thing have a useable Netflix app without the hassle of using the mouse curser?
Seems for this amount of money, it should be on the level as the Nvidia box.
Iâm debating on sending it back, but I do love the remote better than the Nvidia and I could use the Netflix app on my TV instead of the mouse version. Just wondering why the degraded version of some of the appsâŚ.

Guess you would have to ask app owner why itâs not available - itâs their app and they decide where it can be used.
If you need the official netflix app then this is not the device for you

Probably several reasons, but itâs something I need to look into a bit more since Iâm not familiar with Streamio and Kodi has been flaky for us.

Other reviews for the Z12 on the internet have been mixed. While it looks real slick and has a great remote, the processor is no better than the Z11, and it lacks support for certain things, including video upscaling, as well a lack of video and audio settings. About the only thing advantageous with the Z12 is the Android TV 12 O/S interface and MyTV3.
I have two Z12 Ultras. One works flawlessly and the other doesnât. The one that has issues reboots while watching it. The remote tends to go unresponsive and locks me out for minutes at a time. Is anyone else experiencing any of these issues. I have sent it back and am ordering a new one tomorrow. I would love to know if anyone else has had these issues.
