I’m a scifi fantasy sort of guy. Looking forward to House of the Dragons in just over a week.
Check out the new dark matter series, really good, there is a quite a few eps available of season 1. A new ep comes out every week. Im more into war movies mainly ww2.
Just started 3 body problem, seems good.
Also constellation is a fantastic series.
I enjoyed Dark Matter, but found that 3 body was not for me. I’ll have to look into constellation. I also enjoy WW2 movies but because of my age, and what my parents went through, I find them overwhelming sad and sometimes to intense for me. Thank you for you input. Much appreciated.
Yes 3 Body Problem was very good. IMO Constellation not so much - Never really understood what was going on
Yes the war films are incredibly sad at times. I watch a lot of films about the jews during that period, i visited Auschwitz which was a very moving experience.
I loved constellation it always had ya thinking.
I can tell you that you are NOT using the Menu button on the Firestick remote, referred to the Hamburger button with Horizontal lines. When watching the stream, You discover that it isn’t english. To stop, press the Hamburger Bar and a menu will appear on the bottom of the screen. Choose the STOP(square) button in the middle. You can kill the stream and choose a new stream. I stopped trying for 4ks, then bring up too much trouble too often. Use 1080 and a smaller pack. Usually gives me better luck. you can use a 4k Pack, 1080 is easier success for me. Play around with that hamburger button when you are in a moment of discovery. Pull up some streams and play with it.
If you guys would just take the time to watch my video you’d realize there is a way to stop playback using the back button and you can in fact prevent movies and shows from ever playing in a foreign language or showing subtitles when you don’t want them. FFS, try something new!
Agree but the search functionality is lacking in this Platform in many ways
@PapaS linked it above.
Not sure what device your using or controller, but there should be a button to click on to the screen of the movie your watching this will activate the controls along the bottom or top of your movie or TV show. Watching a movie you must hit pause first which are 2 lines, then to exit you must hit the square exit button not a back button on your remote or your show will do what your experiencing.
Live TV you can not pause all you do is hit the square button to exit.
There are other controls one for sound adjustments and one for screen size adjustments. If you want to just go back to your show and get rid of the controls hit the back button on your controller.
Hi, when I’m watching a program or video if I want to go to a different link, let’s say for a better picture. I press pause then click the back button and click on another link. I use a firestick 4k . I know on crew settings you can set the language to English as I always used to get foreign language streams.
@Jayhawks659 tip on changing the back button function with keymap editor is a handy tip. Its about 18 mins in to video.
One thing you can do, if the audio is not in English, is pause
, scroll over to the settings, click Audio settings and go down to audio stream, change it to English. Many times it will have more than one audio file linked to the stream.
Press the round button on your remote you should see a control bar at the bottom move right towards the square and press this will stop the movie press back button and this should take you Back to movies . Sometimes it will take you back too start not sure why it does this but usually it goes back to movies
I need a lot of help with with set up on Trakt and real debris🥴
For which add-on?
Now now…no need to berate…even nicely. While I haven’t had issue with this I can tell you being elderly, a lot of info and terminology is waaaaay over my head and I stick mostly with the basics. It is also why I don’t participate in this format because of it. If it weren’t for Troypoint walking me through the processes (and terminology!) I would have given up long ago. Thank you Troy!
