Still working for me with few issues… My only beef is when you watch a video, then back out and watch another, then back out of that one it goes to the first one again making you have to back out of it again. Kinda frustrating.
I went into the APKTime then went under entertainment to obtain the flix vision update and it downloaded spy dog flix vision now I have uninstalled three times and am getting car ads and none of the links work
Yup but the malicious code was in the 3.0.1r and so I had that release and deleted it out of an abundance of caution. I will wait to see what happens with the 3.1.0r. Tx. @sktn77a did you happen to see any scans for this release?
@Miki, I did a scan and VirusTotal reported 6 hits, most were ad related but I use TDUK’s blocker.
I mentioned before I always force close it after I use it and I pay close attention to traffic through my router, no activity when it is closed, but as always, security is a personal responsibility so I am not trying to tell anybody else to use it.
EDIT: scanned 3.1.1r with VirusTotal, 5 hits no actual confirmed malware. But as I have said before, not encouraging anyone to use it.
So what’s the deal with all the seriously obnoxious ads on FlixVision in the last week-or-so? It started on Flixvision0 streams but is now on Flixvision1 streams, too. I see the original website (Flixvision.app) is down and out so maybe someone is modifying the currently available app to include ads now? It was bad enough when only direct links would play with any reliability but now with Flixvision riddled with ads, I think it may be time to dump it.
Well, everyone else on Reddit has ads! Sure, a paid adblocker may stop the ads but why the heck did they start with this in the first place (their website, now defunct, proudly proclaimed NO ADS).
I have a quick question, is Flix Vision safe to use? Virus Total says it has detected 5. Also when you try to watch several movies I keep getting the rotating RBC logo. Thank you all in advance for your sage advice.
