I was expecting you to dislike it more aha. Good review honest and upfront.
Now i know they push their version of iptv player which is why they tend to market this box higher then others. I agree tivimate is better, but mytvonline2 is a very good player, i have never had a single issue with it. Its a soild choice if you want a updated all in one.
The remote not being bt does suck but what you can do with it is good! It controls all the tvs as well. Keep in mind this remote as batteries die you will have to point it directly at the box and its not as good. That would be a indicator your battery is dying.
Thanks for that info about the batteries! This is a great device and extremely powerful. It all comes down to personal preference and whether people like all the options on the remote. Some may like a remote with only a few buttons. I really like the ability to customize those buttons! Also, they should be touting that it runs Android TV and not generic stock Android…crazy to me. Looking forward to diving into it more over the next few days. Thanks @TP-Dracoo !
Yea, when the batteries die the remote acts ridiculous, i think its funny. You lose range big time.
They way it runs android i thought you would like. Its not a bad box. They are trying to compete with tivimate if you ask me. I cant wait for the deep dive review.
Mytvonline2 is a really good player, its better than smaters pro and way more relaxed and easy to use. Its just not feature rich like tivimate, its more plug n play however it has lots of options.
You are welcome. Glad you did a review. Cant wait to see other reviews from other suggestions from our users! Cheers!
Can I have it when you are done
Just kiddin’…or am I
This box looks really cool. Great review, looking forward to the rest.
Thanks Troy for this video review.
My first impression on this formuler Z10 is excellent, easy to install and no need to log in to google right away which make this easy.
It also goes smoothly as long as the video been followed, for my first impression I will give the formuler Z10 8 point out of 10.
Maybe this will be my next purchase.
Excellent, and awaiting the new review.
Yes, thank you for the great review, Troy, I had no idea there were so many options for streaming! keep em’ coming!
Troy I too love the Z 10 Pro Max. I agree with you on your evaluation of this box.
But! Problem with gigabit Ethernet connection!! I purchased two boxes back in September and an other in March. I haven’t opened the newest box yet. Both of the earlier box’s Ethernet connection was lost within two months. They both work great off Wi-Fi but much quicker with the ethernet connection!
I didn’t care for their support at all. I don’t do Twitter Facebook or any social networking other than Telegram.
Like I said I haven’t tested the newest box so I don’t know if the issue has been addressed yet or not. Just a heads up on my situation with the FORMULER Z 10 Pro Max
Thanks Troy - Sock
Hello @Therealsock thank you very much for this info. I will keep an eye on this. I’ve had my IPTV streaming nonstop since I did the video. I will keep it going around the clock for the next week and we will see what happens.
Great preliminary review , Kind of like the the remote features.
When is this final review hitting. I have a guy who wants me to order him one and set it up.
This has me worried because im afraid when I see it I will want to keep it
So please Troypoint…tell me yours broke down in final testing.
Hello @TXRon I should have the final review done by Friday or early next week. One preliminary thought is that this is an expensive device. Not sure I would pay $169 for a good remote control. Yeah, you do get an IPTV player but it isn’t as good as the TiviMate.
Thanks and I will pass that along. If I was to spend that much I would have to go nvidea. Hard to beat tivimate and my current dillema with emby server. Although the player interface in emby I say is second to tivimate.
Thanks

Hello, I have been using Formuler boxes for a little while now, started with the Z8, then moved on to the Z8 Pro and I haven’t encounter any major issues. I agree about the remote control not being Bluetooth but if you are fairly close to the box, it works fine, I do have the Rii MINI keyboard/mouse device connected as is much easier to type on logins and searches.
Customization of buttons work well but I do not have all of them customized.
You can also download all the apps from Troypoint including all other players of your choice with no issues.
Bear in mind that I only have a max of 10-12mbps in a rural area and I am able to do all I need. I do not do gaming.
I will consider upgrading to the Z10 mostly because of the storage capacity.
I have not encounter the battery issue but appreciate the warning.
Thanks for the review.
Love the review and now that I have one I just want to say it has moved ahead of my X5. The stock player is really nice and I do like the fact you can create groups in there like TiviMate. Fast and powerful device. I haven’t unleashed its potential yet but I give it two thumbs up as of now
To me the Formuler is way ahead of the buzztv brand. I picked the z10 back when @TP-Dracoo was talking about his z8 I think and really liked it
Yes! Such an underrated box. Love it.
TP,
Mytvonline2…is that a solid alternative to Tivimate in that I have a friend who has a house full of apple iOS devices, and also has a 4K Firestick and I want him to be able to enjoy IPTV as I do (I have an Android phone and was able to sub to Tivimate no problem), but we don’t want to use an emulator on his PC or laptop if we can find a viable alternative. If this is solid, and we can load it, how would we go about?!?
