On my older devices, Stremio 1.6.12 doesn’t have all the recent exo player playback issues.
I should have never upgraded my 1.8.4 version on my Shield. The 1.9.x patches have been and are still unusable.

Yeah, I checked that out earlier…but noticed they didn’t archive 1.8.4.
Despite that, what would be the best way to download and install a file on a android TV device? Just steer Downloader to the file url? Download on a PC and transfer it via a USB storage device?
I have the latest Stremio version in firestick 4k Max. I had issues for a couple days with Torrentio and Comet. After a couple days passed it just seemed to resolve itself. Went from inoperable to fine. Couldn’t tell you what happened and didn’t make any adjustments.
Just installed ver. 1.9.10 from Troy’s toolbox on my ONN Pro and it’s finally working great again. 
Downloaded the new version of Stremio and all the addons troy recommended. It will show a bunch of links and none will play no matter what size file I try. Yes I changed players, reset wifi, cleared cache, force stopped and restarted. No luck. Am using Bee TV with real-derid and have good luck with it.

Bee TV working great EVEN WITHOUT RD. Just watching some of their links works well also.
TorBox not allowed on Bee TV … don’t drop that RD subscription!

Hi need help I have streamio on a third generation cube it was working fine but today I turn it on and I get no Tarantino links for some reason all I get are comet which when I use it always gives me the wrong episode is there a way to get back to the links the territino links and I used bootstrappers so I know I have the add-on but it will doesn’t come up on the TV thank you
I just installed Bootstrapper into my Stremio account and no Torrentio links are coming up. I even installed Torrentio separately and have same results. Although in my AioStreams config Torrentio links show up and play fine.
Lots of Umbrella/Kodi fans here. Bee plays fine with minimum effort. Bee does VOD Movies and Series well, but Stremio is King in my opinion.
Torrentio comes and goes on Stremio. Very frustrating. Having said that, my Torrentio links with Kodi addons always seem to work.
Once again I have had no issue with Torrentio in Stremio for a couple of weeks now. Running perfectly and pulling a number of 4K sources consistently.
Torrentio links were missing from mine a few days ago. No idea why. I fled to Kodi. What I don’t understand is why Torrentio is missing in Stremio but I have a gazillion Torrentio links in Kodi. Not that it matters but I ponder it anyway.
Torrentio hasn’t disappeared from my Stremio. I actually have 3 instances installed. One each for PM, RD, and TB as I hate them bundled into one instance of Torrentio with a huge list of sources. I set them up to only show 1080 and up, as if it’s less than that it isn’t worth watching IMHO, and I can certainly wait for a quality release to come out. Not as if I’m stuck for something to watch.
I have had difficulty in obtaining RD links in Stremio. As an experiment, I turned off SurfShark and many RD links appeared. I turned Stremio off and enabled SurfShark and turned Stremio back on and RD links are limited and won’t play. Do I need to try a different city in SurfShark? Stremio updated itself to 1.9.10.
Torrentio links aren’t working if installed through Bootstrapper or standalone. They work fine if configured through AIOStreams and Duckstreams.
I have mone configured and installed as stand alone addons in Stremio. They pretty much all fetch the same sources though. Used them last night for 4K.
