am actually lucky that Cinema HD works fine with my 2nd generation firestick. Understanding that this will not last long, I am trying out Stremio. Having issues though. I created an account online, used the bootstrapper option, activated TraktvTV and added Real Debrid API to Torrentio. I have a Stremio app on my Samsung TV. All good until I try to watch something. Getting many link responses, mostly Torrentio. Once I hit play, I receive a message - “Access denied. Please check if you have a valid debrid subscription. I use both Real Debrid and TraktvTV on Cinema HD and the work fine. Sorry for the lengthy message. Any help is appreciated!
I copied and pasted then added. I took a quick glance for accuracy. Will go back again and verify
It could be a temporary problem with Torrentio, force stop and clear cache.
It could be a Firestick problem, remove, destroy & replace with ONN
I had the same issue with my ONN 4K+ not connecting when turned back on. I did a hard restart to fix it. This happened a few times but seems to have righted itself now.
I’ve replaced my fire stick with an ONN box and purchased All-debrid Cinema HD works fine. But so does film plus so Amazon has blocked lots of APKs
I am using the Stremio app from my Samsung Smart TV not Firestick. The issue continued to happen. I am trying to replace my Firestick!!!
@tmfriend , just a thought, what model year is your TV, because that will matter….
Is your Samsung TV Tizen OS?
I use Cyberflix…. same programming
Are you using the Samsung Stremio app from the Samsung 2019 Play Store, às suggested at Stremio.com
seems like firestik and android all has the same problems good sites being knocked out
Yes sir….straight from the Samsung app store. I have a 2021 Smart TV
Miki, yes it is TU7000, a 2020 model
65” 2020 Samsung using TU7000 OS
here’s what i found….do you have 2 TV’s, 2020 or 2021….well either way….
For Samsung TVs (2021–2025 models):
Open the Samsung Smart Hub (app store) from your TV’s home screen.
Use the search function to look for “Stremio”.
If it doesn’t appear immediately, check the “Videos” section of the app store, as availability may vary by region and update timing.
Once found, install the app directly from the Samsung App Store.
For older Samsung TVs (2019–2020 models):
Stremio is not officially available in the Samsung App Store.
The app may appear after a regional update, but official support is limited to 2021+ models.
From the Stremio download page it says the app is in the app store for Samsung models 2019+
