It requires a lot of space to use it. We will be removing it as an option in a future update
If you want to use Timeshift its best to use a USB or SD Card.
Hi, Thanks for the reply. So when itās removed will there be an option to make sure that itās the USB or SD card that is being used for the timeshift.
Also, Iām hoping that if the option is removed that the pause, rewind and fast-forwarding will still work as that is the reason I purchased this box?
Thatās cool to know sorry for the slow response. Iām losing my mind this week cause I havenāt had internet since Sunday morning and apparently a whole 3 block line of fibre optic cable has to be replaced so I may be buzztvless until Thursday. Man I miss all the great people at the insider. This sucks sitting in a restaurant 
parking lot to get some free wifi. Oh well after this itās back to the radio.

@PiratePete Iām not sure. I have little knowledge about the internet stuff and sad to say I have no idea what a hotspot is. I use Bell Canada. Thank God someone from Bell was here this morning and the line from my house to the road had to be changed, damn squirrels apparently love the taste of fiber optic cable.
A hotspot is when you can use your phones internet as wifi for other devices ā¦
I.e. laptop, tv box etc.

Itās not available in all phones and you usually have to subscribe to the hotspot feature. With phone service itās only $5 extra per month . Comes in handy when Iām on the road. Cheers

I just received my BuzzTv X5 and have issues with Downloader. I installed it from Google Play. At first when I tried downloading an appā¦ I kept getting disconnected from the internet. Then I uninstalled Downloader and re-installedā¦ now it just stops around the half-way mark and gives me an error message. I do have allow on in permissions. I know a good bit about Amazon Fire Tv but very new to Android and would appreciate any help on this issueā¦ Thanks

The following are general steps to complete this process.
You should watch the video above for important details.
- Go into Settings and turn on Unknown Sources for Chrome Browser or any browser that you are using to download with.
- Open Chrome Browser and type the following URL into the address bar troypoint.com/dl
- You will notice that the APK install file will download to your device.
- Open the File Explorer on your system, go to Download folder, and click the Downloader APK file to install it.
- You may be prompted to allow Unknown Sources for each app that can install and you should do this for each one.
The X5 is definitely a work in progress. They have an AppInstaller on the home screen you may find useful. You can also download from a pc and put the app on a thumb drive. Good luck.

I broke out my km6 this morning for a tune up and digging around I noticed the specs on it are almost if not equal to the X5. Well except for the buzz iptv setup and issues with the updates ā¦ After an hour or so it got me thinking what am I doing with this x5 when the km6 just works, same specs, half the price 
ā¦widgets work without config issuesā¦
Spending money on toys, thats why.
LOL. Exactly! Thatās why I picked up the X5ā¦something to mess with. Have my wallet sights set on the MeKool KM2 to purchase next.
speaking of spending money I already have the km2 and km6, both great boxes unless you ask Miki about the km2 
km2 I always thought should have been higher spec with all its certifications but its been flawless and the km6 is higher spec but less certifiedā¦actuallt certs dont mean much to a streamer because we improvise
I bet if you took the parts out of the km6 and buzzyās x5 they would be identicle.
Whatās the difference between the km2 and km6?
I did a compare on New Egg and it basically says only difference is release date. Pretty generic comparison chart though
