The only issue is the playlist selects HD and if there is a hi volume you do not have an option to drop down to SD. That’s why I use the site url and I use the Downloader browser.
Yes, this is exactly what I do in Tivimate, and it works perfectly. I want to also use it in Buzz TV,s own player: BuzzTV 6. It’s much better for recording. But I guess I just have to give that up…
I don’t have any issues recording through TiVimate on my P6L. But that being said I only ever recorded as an experiment as I never record anything.
I’ve tried several times in Tivimate, but always with some issues. Usually never record the whole show or game…No problem with BuzzTV 6.
I always have it start a minute before and then go 5 minutes after and have always had a full recording. But I rarely have buffering and have a 150Mbps download speed. Just tested it and getting 157Mbps down. I have two connection subs and use one to watch and the other records any channel I choose. I use Proton VPN.
I only have 50mbps and it’s probably buffering that cause the recording issues…. Maybe BuzzTV 6 isn’t so sensitive ..
Ahhh yes. You could be absolutely correct. Don’t t forget TV Pass is a single connection so you couldn’t record with it and watch live TV at the same time. Also if setting a recording for TV Pass and when it goes to connect and all the HD channels are full the connection will be rejected. TV Pass is not a good choice to use for or to test recording.

Any opinions on if I should get this over the formular? I really like the upgradeability of this one. Tired of the ONN boxes. I have had 3 in the last year go bad. Walmart doesn’t want to honor manufacturers warranty and the number for manufacturer tells you walmart will do it. So I want something I can keep awhile. If this is the wrong place to ask please let me know and I will delete. I put it in here as I like the look of it better than the Formuler. Is it true neither one will run netflix or Prime? Long time lurker.
The Buzz P6L inlimited accepts the install of 64 bit apps and certainly is future proofing. Very robust but expensive. Mine has 32GBs of DDR5 RAM and runs smooth.
Tv pass has been getting overloaded a lot here lately.
@miki or anyone else I remember a post by Buzz reps hinting at some boxes that might launch in the future. Has anyone heard of any rumors of when they could possibly launch or features such as Dolby Vision etc.
With the holidays coming up it would seem to be the time to roll out if they are going to do it this year.

How well does the recording function work on the Nvidia Shield Pro? It has been a constant problem with my Z11 Pro Max, and an important feature for me.
the recording works very well on the shield as long as you have a good iptv provider. You also need good, and reliable internet connection.
Correct - You will not be able to run official version of some apps because they decide what devices can install them.
You can however side loads apk files of these apps

This guy had a P6 video where he showed it running a Plex server. I didn’t save the exact video or research more since I ended up not getting a P6. I would reach out to him or search through his P6 videos.
