🛑 XtremeHD IPTV Permanently Shuts Down

Thanks “semperkai” for the reply.
As you mentioned, MY “life time” sub , right now, shows “Expiration date 2025-12-12”.
Hopefully it continues!!!
I wonder if any maintenance will be kept up?

I just signed up for a year subscription for 5 devices. How do I contact them?

Since the channels are still working & they’re responding to me in the .io site’s client portal. I assume we’ll continue to get their support. You just have to register on their site. Your existing service won’t appear as a current service though. They basically ignored me asking them to add my service to the new portal & just said they will continue to support me & not to worry, which I suppose is fine. Honestly, my lifetime sub didn’t even show up on the Xtreme HD client portal either. I noticed something was odd a couple wks ago because the service was down for hours & that was very unusual. Then I noticed their website was offline too & I thought “uh, oh”. They’ve been shutdown. Then their website came back & quickly messaged them asking if they were getting shutdown & they told me No. Then a few days later, I got an email saying they were shutdown. But their website was still active. So I got back on & asked what was going on & that’s when they gave me the .io website & told me I could get support thru it. Clearly, they seem to be a Reseller… as Troy says, like virtually everyone else. LOL!

My .org site never did shut down and I first reported it Sunday morning at 6am when they sent me the email. I was a little bit surprised that they first notified the subscribers first on Sunday morning early and waited this long to notify this website since it’s probably the ultimate site for any streaming enthusiasts to visit even if they don’t have this streaming service!!!

Troy - it’s worth noting that there are some of these “hydra” sites that have a small variance in the spelling of the url and still incorporates the TLD “.org”. (e.g. another site includes a “s” within its subdomain and org as it’s TLD. xxxxxxsxxxxxx.org).

If not paid attention to, it can be easy to miss and one would easily click (bait) the url link as the original org site.

Frustrating.

Please do not post your personal email in the open forums. If someone wants it, then send it to them in a PM/DM.

I’d venture a bet that most IPTV sites are just Resellers & aren’t necessarily “Scams”. They’re just hoping people go thru them rather than directly thru the source IPTV service. I’ve probably tried 20-30 different IPTV services thru numerous websites & I don’t think I’ve come across a single one that didn’t actually send me my login & server URL. But I’ve noticed that some are sharing the same server URL’s & thus obviously are Resellers. It’s sometimes hard to determine who’s the actual source & who are Resellers though. But as long as we’re paying a reasonable price, I suppose it doesn’t really matter. Just be sure to stay as anonymous as possible, as our Vigilant Troy always says.

I signed up with what I thought was Xtreme a couple of weeks ago. When I attempted to contact them over a service issue, I was scammed. Yes, partially due to my own naivete. But, back to my point, beware! There are imposters out there!

Yeah, you wonder if they’ll do what we’d have to do and go shopping for another “provider”.

It’s very curious that I got a response to a service ticket. They said to go to their new website, which I will not mention, because I don’t want to get in trouble.
I went there and seemingly had my subscription transferred there.
None of that makes sense if the xtremehd site was permanently closed with no forwarding address.
Thoughts???

Same. Was told to try Singapore and it worked like a gem. Just renewed for six months. I don’t like to go beyond that and it’s still working. Got the email also so….we will see

Haha! Every time I had buffering issues with Xtreme HD. They always told me to reset my modem/router & Shield & also to try VPN servers in Singapore, India, Hong Kong or Netherlands. Sometimes it’d work & sometimes not so much.

Curious why you’d renew for 6 months with things being in flux? Or is that the shortest period they offer?

Did the same a few months ago when i had a real sever buffering issue. All good now!

I don’t like to go beyond six months because if they do go down I’m not out so much. Doing monthly is a hassle big time.

I renewed last week so yikes. :grimacing:

.Org is bogus and .io works.

.org is the original site that most TROYPOINT fans used for their subscription. .org is shut down. .io is not the original site therefore it is still up and running and more than likely has nothing to do with those who ran the original site (.org). Does .io work? Yes, it works and they are just running their own IPTV service through that site. Now we have people coming here claiming that .io is the original site…it’s not. Over the years we’ve received multiple requests from .io for a review and we didn’t do it because they were stealing the name of the original service which is something we see quite often in the IPTV space. Just want to clear this up as lots of people are referencing .io and some are probably affiliates or owners of that site. They are not the same.

I get it. My service has monthly auto-renew. So no hassle.

Considering how many re-sellers are out there, if it works with the same channels at the same price, then it is functionally the same. They may not have a website but maybe that’s a good thing as long as they respond to your inquiries.
