Wifi cox copywrite notice

a yr ago i was getting all kinds of warnings from spectrum about downloads while i was using surfshark…
then i found out how to bind my downloads to a static ip on utorrent using surfshark? have never got a warning since in over a yr? i must have hit on something?

Exact same thing happened to me word for word

Ya I have had the spectrum warning twice before I had VPN. Once around 10 years ago and once about 3 years ago. 10 years ago I made contact with spectrum to find out why and they told which movie I had watched. 3 years ago they said I dloaded a movie, don’t remember the name of it but I do not dload anything. So they were full of S. No ISP issues since I got Nord then their company surfshark which I now have.

I use IPVanish and have never had a problem. There is a green dot on my screen that lets me know the vpn is connected. So if the green dot is not there I don’t stream.

Hey that’s a great idea. I researched the site that you gave it’s mostly for NORAD how do I find out what my surf shock file etc so I can put it onto my Kodi but it didn’t say anything about how I get that file it did it did the NORAD VPN but it didn’t do surf shop and I know you guys want us to search everywhere but if you happen to have the information for surf shop to put directly on my Kodi that would be so kind of you thank you never thought of doing that this way it’s not separate from Cody I totally get it what a great idea any help would be appreciated thanks for all you guys help

Sorry about miss spelling voice to text doesn’t work too good Kodi not codylol

These guys know what you downloaded and you got caught. Chalk it up to experience and move on!

Let me tell you it is so easy to do something on these sites that you didn’t have any idea you did it. I know ,because I just got scammed out of $1256. By clicking on the wrong thing. I am almost ready to not stream on any site. I do have a VPN and I keep it on.

Being a senior I hear of scams every day from my fellow seniors. On my phone I have over 200 blocked and spam phone numbers. I no longer accept phone calls from anyone I don’t know. E:mails are the same. Sites I’ve never been to or used I also scan. It’s an uphill battle. I’m so sorry you were scammed.

@Miki not sure who your cellular carrier is but in the US all the Top ones (Verizon, AT&T, T Mobile) have Apps where you can filter the settings to block all calls that are from numbers not in your contact list. The phone doesn’t even ring it goes to Voice Mail. Blocks all those Robo Calls as well. Do I miss valid calls at time? Sure but they aren’t scammers and leave a voice mail

I am up in Canada and I have Spam detection enabled on my carrier. Not sure if that does the same as what you describe but yes, you are correct, I can block all numbers that are not in my contact list. The huge problem here has been the “spoofed” numbers. Numbers that look legit from my province but aren’t. I don’t get any voice mail from unknown numbers, instead what my carrier does is intercept those calls and sends those phone numbers a message like “this number is not accepting calls from you at this time” then I get a message that I got a call from a suspected spam phone number and I get options to report as spam and block, or to delete outright, or add to my “safe” list. I have missed calls as well, especially when someone gets a new number, but they know to email me instead. Tx @MarkxG and have a good day sir.

And it’s only getting harder.
I got scammed twice in 2 weeks

I use Robokiller. Scams are real, I do not take calls from ‘unknown’ numbers or contacts not on my directory. Robokiller screens the calls and can tell me if they are from a health site, insurance, etc. I do not miss calls for doctor’s appointments and if I do, they leave a message, That simple.
I also do not open emails from unknown…I use Proton, it works well. I have also been unsubscribing from most of the old stuff I used to subscribed too (pardon the redundancy…); that helps filter the crap being sent by companies.

I suggest you read the forum rules on etiquette and acceptable behavior. You’ll get banned if you keep this behavior up (if you haven’t already).
I guess your user name says it all.

So you can call me a liar, and acceptable behavior is to not bring you up on it. I guess your name says it all also. My comments to you stand.
