Yeah but time shift is much more functional with pausing and rewind of live TV catch up is hit and miss some channels work others don’t. Catch up is too hard for providers to maintain at 100% functionality guess they don’t have the tech or the budget to maintain it.

The sub that I’m subscribed to has no problem whatsoever with catch up. I just never use catchup because I only ever watch a program when it’s live. Anything that’s already gone by is waste of time for me. I just never understood it.

Does Sparkle cache the program that you time shift on your device’s storage?

You can set the time shift buffer in sparkle to a network location. Just double checked.

You can not pick a network cache location for saving the time shift or for recordings in cosmiTV. just found that in a discussion. Unless it’s an old note.

In SPARKLE you can change the cache location to network.
