Oh, sorry! My bad, I didn’t realize the issue was gone.
Hello, I have received a account cancellation warning letter from Real Debrid.Have used the service for years without an issue. Have two shields we use frequently with Umbrella addon along with Surfshark VPN.One could be using a different VPN location, but both US servers.
Not sure how to ensure I comply with the one ip address rules, any suggestions?
Thank You
Brian
As long as the device is using a VPN address white listed by RD there shouldn’t be an issue, however, you do need to make sure that if using RD at the same time on two different devices that they are both using the same network address and both devices are authorized in RD. You can go to your RD panel and search the help info and send a request for an explanation.
That’s why it pays to have a dedicated IP address through surfshark . Thank you troy got a discount because I used it referral
True, but not supported on Android devices.
I run my vpn through my router and all of my streaming devices are all on the same vpn ip address. Although I very rarely am using my debrid account on more than 1 device at a time.
I also got a RD and a Premiumize account thanks to to the “RD issue” a while back. Its always good to have a back up if you can swing it.
Is this the list under “My Devices” on the RD website? I use several devices at different locations under the same debrid account (but they are each running Surfshark so they will have a different IP address) and have never received this notice. Occasionally, I will have two devices at the same location running, so they would have different IP addresses at the same time on the same account - would that cause RD to have a conniption???
If your router has a VPN client available, Surfshark does have a bunch of IP addresses that can be installed. That’d be the cheapest way if you have such a router.
If not, Torbox costs about $3 a month and TB doesn’t care if you use a few boxes with different public IP addresses.
“If your devices are connected through the same router they are only getting one public IP address”
This applies if I’m not using a VPN and my device is getting the same public IP address via my router. But this isn’t the case if each device has Surfshark on it and is connecting through its own encrypted connection?
