Walmart sale on T95Z - 4gb RAM 64gb ROM .... $25

Think T95s are best used with a launcher, Projectivy or F- Launcher? You don’t get everything for $25, but you get a lot.

@BigDave

Good to know, will be sure to use Projectivity launcher. Mine delivered yesterday, but need to pick it up from my neighbor’s house. I was gone when it was delivered. It delivered a week before the posted delivery date.

How do you do that? It’s not in the box of apps you can move to favorites, and you can’t move them from ALL APPs to favorites(?)

In Projectivy go to Settings > All Apps > Find the APK > Long press OK button > move to the bottom choice and select move to. Easy!
If you don’t use a launcher, you’re going to struggle IMHO

Ah, OK - I don’t use any of these launchers.

How’s this box going ? Do they offer support any where ?

You are not going to get support on these generic cheap China boxes. I had one for several years. All the support you need can be found here on the Insider or the Internet.

Well, I spent most of today giving this T95Z AOSP box a second chance. Reset to factory spec (just in case that was the issue) and reloaded some apps. More issues….. Setting up VLC player (the one supplied with the factory setup) requires both a mouse and clickpad to complete! Same with some Kodi options. Incidentally, the versions of Kodi or KPlayer as they call it was 18.1! I deleted and updated to 21.2 but still the same. Impossible to navigate LivenetTV with the supplied remote. And the IR remote, beside being cheap, was another pita.
Android 12 - could that be the issue?
I’d considered keeping this box as a backup or for “futureproofing” but it’s so bad, I’m returning it tomorrow.

Out of Stock?

That was my experience with “cheap” box when I first started.
I still prefer ASOP over certified Google TV

Waiting on Troy’s full review of $50 X88 Pro X5M Android TV Box

The promo price of $25

Oh darn. Missed it.

Thank you.

Well I went to return today at my local Walmart. To my surprise, I was given refund and told to keep item free of charge. Wow, Merry Christmas to me.:grin::grin:

Yes, I was presented with the same option when I tried to return it. I think they do this for pretty much anything whose seller is located in China. So I’m not out any money and have a cheap box to mess with when I’m bored.
I did try the Amazon BT remote installation and thought it was going to work (to ditch the IR remote). Everything functioned great until I turned off the box…….. which turned off it’s BT circuitry and prevented me turning it back on with the Amazon remote!

Oh well, one step forward and two steps backward!
