T95Z Plus is available here in Canada for $67.29 cdn for the 4-126 model. Also at Walmart.

Just started learning the AOSP system, but I like the device works well with lots of storage. Snappy enough for me and has run every app I loaded so far. Using the Projectivy launcher. Had to learn where to turn off Play Prrotect and few other details, but overall I LIKE IT!

Negatives: Remote must be pointed at the device, HDMI cord and Power cord are short(ish).

For the price I think I got a great deal. I only find this price at WalMart, there may be others but I like Wally Mart’s return policy!

in the US the Onn plus is $29.99. actually runs smoother than the $45 pro model. Some cheap android boxes from china have been good. but i have had several crap out on me.. good luck with the return policy… but walmart will take back and exchange anything.. without the $3 warranty plan

I have 2 ONN Pro devices and they perform nicely, but they are not AOSP. In my case, I wanted that experience and $25 is cheap. Formuler, Buzz and Ugoos sell devices based on the AOSP platform. They receive high praise here on the Insider, but they’re not $25.
I’ve seen much praise over the years for the T95Z and want that experience of Streaming without Amazon or Google looking over my shoulder. If Google TV decides to do what Amazon is doing, our ONNs will be worthless.

Before my ONN 4K Pro I used a T95Z Plus for about 6 years. Great boxes, Zero issues and if Google decides to go the Amazon route I’ll go back to the T95Z. Amazon has a lot of T95’s with different configurations and they have a great return policy as well. Just walk into Whole Foods put it on the counter and get instantly refunded

I went looking to get one, it seems they all have All winner h618 in them, from reading, I am not big on the All winner. Was hoping for an Amlogic, so I could reflash it. I have something coming from Aliexpress to play with, but I thought for $25 I would pick up another one. I may have to do some research on the h618 and see if there is anything for them.

Can’t factory reset the allwinner. They have to be flashed to reset through a computer.

I usually stick with the amlogic chipsets let us know how you get on. I can’t live without auto framerate matching as i hate the stutter on movies etc, i don’t think the allwinner support this.

The s905x5m aosp devices can be bought fairly cheap now.

I wonder if Walmart will help if something goes wrong?
This is an external seller selling on Walmart marketplace

The T95z Plus one I bought many years ago on Amazon had an Amlogic Chipset. It worked great for several years. I have no idea what you mean by “Flashed to reset through a computer” Also I never had to factory reset it

Those advertised on Walmart have Allwinner chips. Alwinner chip sets can’t be factory reset from the box. Have to connect the box to usb through a usb cable and use flsahing software to write the new update to the chips. These guys were talking about the one on the Walmart site. I made the mistake of not avoiding the Allwinner chips before . Even to just factory reset to get it back operating you have to have the original factory flash file to put the box back working . Anything labeled H313 or H818 etc are allwinner chip sets .

If that’s the case, why do they even have a factory reset option?

Don’t take my word for it try to factory reset the allwinner and you will end up with just a black screen .

Allwinner chips require flashing to install the correct firmware for proper operation. This is necessary to ensure that the device is running the latest software updates and security patches, which are essential for maintaining the device’s performance and security. Flashing also allows for customizations and optimizations that may not be available through the stock firmware.

Took me a while to even get the proper flash file from the Chinese manufacturer just to be able to flash them back .

Treated myself to lunch at a local café. Had chicken fried streak, potato, house salad and a slice of Home made pie with iced tea. With gratuity $26 !
Buzz has a new high powered box $500
New $25 T95Z Plus is working fine
Gotta make choices in life donchaknow!
