I have the Onn 4k Pro V2. It works great.
I have had the Onn 4K for a couple of months. I have one still unopened that I will be returning as it buffers, constantly disconnects from the internet. I’m going to see if I can take both back. Total waste of money
If you think Onn 4K devices are a waste of money I’m curious what streaming devices you think are worth it?
You got a bad one then. Also, 99% of the time buffering doesn’t result from a bad box.
I kind of agree with TP in a sense. I’ve had similar issues with buffering with various streaming devices, including ONN boxes.
Here are some things to try…change the relative locations of the router and streaming device…in the router assign a 2.4 GHz channel to the device…change your VPN address…change the VPN protocol.
The cheapie ONN boxes are great, but their Wi-Fi antennas aren’t great.
Hi Guys disabeling IPV6 on you’re router fixes a lot of buffering issues.
Did a factory reset of an ONN 4k Pro. Installed Projectivy, went into settings to turn on the AI upscaling and it is greyed out and can not be turned on or accessed. So I checked my other ONN 4k Pro and it also cannot access the AI-PQ / AI-SR setting. I followed Troy’s video on setting the box up but I have no idea how to get the AI upscaling to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try not to do a factory reset not have to do in many years. But I can help you I just went into my ONN 4K Pro 2026 model.
In projectivy
Go to the settings up top right of screen once entered
Go in Amlogic additional settings.
Then down to picture click enter
Then it will show ai-pq/ai-sr
Then go down to enable AI SR in my case it was set to low when I purchased 2 months ago and now I have had it set too high enter in on that and you will see off low medium high sometimes it’s just a little hard to get to it but in that order you will get to it hope I’ve helped.

I checked my box, with Projectivy installed, in the guest bedroom which is use very little. The Aspect ratio and AI was in white and could get to the settings. Swapped it out for a box that is grayed out. All I installed was Tivimates. Came in tonight to watch TV, it iis now greyed out. I think something updated and turned it off but I have no idea what it was. We’ll, my birthday is coming up so guess it time to put an Ugoos AM9 Pro in the master bedroom.
