MICKI, I purchased the ONN 4K streaming box and I’m here in Mexico and it won’t work. It keeps saying it won’t let me use it in this region anyway to get around it or should I send it back? I’ve heard so many good things about the box. I thought I’d try it

Wouldn’t be possible to set up the ONN if you had a VPN service installed on a router using SS or Proton?
It’s very easy to install Wireguard on an Asus or Cudy router.
Yes or just use a hotspot on your mobile or pc like most of us did. It’s only during setup you need to appear to be coming from the USA after that it doesn’t matter but having a USA VPN as mentioned many times has it’s advantages.

But, I have had an easier time setting up my routers with a VPN than using a cell for a hotspot…and my suggestion is just another way to skin the proverbial cat.
Absolutely but all routers, like mine cannot loaded with a VPN so I had no other choice.

Depends on the router you have. My suggestion would be to use the Site search 
and look at all the threads and see which one applies to your case use.

It was time to replace our years-old TP Link router and I purposely bought our present Asus after reading about the advantages of using a VPN client on a router vs the individual clients on streaming devices.

I believe Firestick is at it again so I may purchase the ONN PRO as it can be hardwired and if you have your firestick hard wired you can use the same connection to hardwire your firestick.
Th Onn pro has an Ethernet port but it is 100mbps so you will achieve faster speeds over WiFi, that’s if your internet connection is more than 100mbps.
Thanks to Troypoint I purchased a new ONN PRO box and got rid of my Firesick. Really a nice item.
You’re going to love it. It’s all I use and I have 2 more Onn 4k’s and still one decrepid Firestick left that pretends to run when I turn it on just to check. The other one, I literally put to rest with a hammer.
I put mine to rest with a pocket knife. Lol. Gotta love it.
Happy with the ONN 4k Pro that was recommended. I’ve downloaded a couple of APPs that seem to want more of a MOUSE input. The stick control won’t move around it at all. Is there an app that will allow me to move the cursor around like a mouse? Thanks in advance!
