I know there is a thread about the vSeeBox and a few replies. I understand the concerns with buying “fully loaded” boxes or falsity of the claims.
I’m curious if anyone has actually done testing on the vSeeBox and their primary apps Heat Live, Heat Ultra, and Heat VOD. The apps can be found and sideloaded but they require a login and registration when a box is sold registers the MAC address of the box to prevent other boxes from loading the apps.
Watching a demo at recent RV show it appears their apps are like an IPTV provider and VOD provider rolled together.
The cost is around $350 and there are no monthly fees for the IPTV and VOD function and the box can be unlocked so the user can load other apps if they want to.
Clearly, like the IPTV providers, they are skirting on the fringes of distribution rights. The down side would be they get shut down before you get 12-18 months of usage out of the box and sort of break even from buying your own box and doing subscriptions.
Thoughts?
