A few other users have reported the same issue of the dot moving. Fortunately it appears to rarely happen, and I am glad that a reinstall fixes the issue. I will add some extra checks for the position in a future version.
Mine too! Don’t know what the deal is (I’m using an Onn 4k Plus).
Instead of doing a reinstall of monitor dot to fix this issue, try just rebooting the device to see if the dot moves back to the to right corner.

I’ve had this happen on my cheap tablet and a reboot always fixes it. 
I tried that, no luck. I’m just leaving it where it is for now.
What version of Android is that onn 4k pro running?
That’s Android 14 on the Onn box. I ended up resetting the box to factory spec and re-loading it. All’s well now.
So, doing a factory reset fixed the issue of “this app is not compatible with your device” being displayed and Monitor Dot installed without any problems?
I have a client who has just acquired their Buzztv classic ui box. I have found that Monitor dot will not work on it. They have Uninstaller and reinstalled. Dot will not blink red or green. Anyone have any ideas on why this app will not work on his class ui box?
Make sure you grant it permission to display over other apps.
Another possible reason could be that the box’s screen size needs to be calibrated to the TV’s screen. This is done in the box’s settings NOT the TV’s settings.
