Not trying to change you perception nor experience. i am merely pointing out that your experience seems to be unique to you.
You do what is best and works for you. Just as that Ola app seemed to work for you. It is almost useless to me.

I know it is. As I said earlier, what works flawlessly for one person is crap to another. Thatās the case here. Shame Tivimate is such a waste of money.
Iām running Tivimate with IPVanish on a connection that is typically about 80Mbps. Iāve used both OpenVPN and Wireguard. Currently all of my channels are flawless with no buffering. It used to be that way with Sapphire Secure. Then they temporarily shut down. When they came back I had all sorts of buffering issues. I guess everyoneās experience is different. The internet is a complex thing. Your data can be routed in many different ways, with or without a VPN. Just because your IPTV provider doesnāt have any issues with their servers doesnāt mean that you wonāt have an issue somewhere along the way itās routed to you.
I donāt know much about networking, but if absolutely NOTHING worked in Tivimate when IPVanish was onā¦ That tells me that the two applications are probably trying to use the same port. Idk how that works when you install an app and your device figures that out. Iām not going to scroll back up and read through all the whining, but I wonder if uninstalling the app and then re-installing would solve the issue. It doesnāt make sense if other people can use the same two apps with no problem. Itās clearly a device/user specific issue.
Changing IPV ports did nothing for me. Such conflicting experiences. I tried 3 different vpns. All the same. I switched protocols, dns servers, and everything I can think of. The only thing I didnāt try was having no active vpn when using Tivimate. Iāll give it a go and report back. Tomorrow.

In an effort to not create a new topic, this is as close as I could find to my issue so I will add it here.
My question is - is it possible for an ISP to mess with an eyeP stream, even if I am using a VPN?
Iāve had a good eyeP provider but during the hockey playoffs, every channel showing the game runs into problems and when I tell the provider, they just say lots of people are watching with no issues. My ISP is Rogers and they are heavily invested in NHL rights and they are notorious for excessive throttling and things of that nature.
So Iām wondering if they have found a way, even with a VPN, to identify what Iām streaming and mess with it.
These issues only happen with hockey games and with blue jays games. Iām streaming fine otherwise.
It doesnāt seem technically feasible but who knows?
Interested to hear your thoughts.
For now, Iām using kodi/crew to watch the games.
BTW, here is what Iām using
It doesnāt sound like ISP throttling, so I donāt think that is the case here. Most IPTV issues are still on the supplier side. Do you have any other services or just this one? If you have another, do the sames issues exist? If not, can you get at least a free trial of another service to test? What is your internet speed with and without VPN?
I have just the one service now. Iām looking for another. I was just wondering whether an ISP might be able to do this. If anyone would find a way it would be Rogers - who we refer to as Robbers. I want to switch from having them as my ISP but my wife refuses to give up her rogers.com email address and you know Iām never going to win that argument!
Thanks for the suggestions.
Look into this if you want to change your ISP to confirm.
You can still KEEP your rogers email address if you change your ISP. In the past you couldnāt but that has changed.
Iāve looked into this before but the only āsolutionā is to transfer the address to a family member or friend who still has an active Rogers account and then access it from there. Are you aware of an alternative?
Often times, vendors like Rogers use this as an anchor so that you end up staying with them as itās too much work to migrate.
If you canāt get it to work then i would suggest opening an email address not tethered to any ISP or anything. Iāve been using gmail for decades. Might be a Pain in the A$$ for you to switch but then you are pretty much set going forward
If that were the case theyād have to block access entirely to ExpressVPN and you wouldnāt be able to connect to the Internet period if you were connected to the VPN. If itās not happening across the board with every app itās definitely not your ISP. Itās almost definitely the IPTV service and Iāve been having some of the same issues and I also use ExpressVPN. I contacted one of the services I use because of the issue and was givin new credentials. Since then I havenāt had any problems but the guy said they were having issues and it was affecting a lot of customers. Many IPTV providers are using the same base service and Iām thinking our issues could be related to a degree but your case is a bit more unusual. I thought the IPTV service was blocking it because a proxy was detected but it wasnāt that. Iām not familiar with eyeP or whatever service they provide but considering itās name I could only assume itās directly related to Internet Protocol. Like I said I have no knowledge of the service but could it be clashing with ExpressVpn by some chance? I use Adguard and ExpressVPN at the same time which took me quite a while to figure out how to configure to even make it possible but if certain measures arenāt taken I get nothing because ExpressVPN uses their own DNS servers and I use my own private DNS provided by Adguard.
Try setting the vpn tp detroit, chicago or even a small market like Charlott NC. Closest isint always best with vpn servers.
