Had the same issue with setting up my New Nvidia Shield TV Pro, Virus Total would not make a connection, came here did a search and found this old post, unhooked the Ethernet cable and connected to wifi, worked like a charm, Great wealth of Info on here, searched first for my problem. Thanks everyone keep up the good work

Also trying to set up Virus Total on Shield Pro. In order to continue the install, it required I remove the additional USB storage that I had installed to expand Tivimate recording. Is there a way to install Virus Total with USB stick installed? Thank you!
downloaded virustotal from toolbox open it hit scan it said ERROR internet is not available ,under comments ,someone has the same proble , ran it with vpn on and off——help
@sanman1 are you using ethernet or wifi?
If you are using ethernet you will need to use wifi.
