All you that have purchased please share how you like them as you get them rolling.
Here are my Readers Digest version impressions of the SK3 so far. I am using the AM9 as a yardstick for performance. 1) The SK3 is very snappy and app connections are just about instantaneous. 2) The 8 gbs of RAM gives you a lot more capacity and headroom when multitasking or using multiscreen on various player apps. 3) Dolby Vision in addition to all the other HDR options covers just about all of your viewing preferences. 4) Streaming in HD is buttery smooth. 5) Upscaling is very good, but there aren’t as many settings as there are on the AM9 or AM9 Pro. I have contacted Ugoos in this regard and they will look at a firmware update to upgrade the upscaling options. 6) Overall, the SK3 performs as I expected and the 4K renditions are excellent.
No update delivery for mine yet. Still says it left JFK.

Another redundant tv box. For that price I would atleast expect it to decode dolby vision full enhancement layer without having to do the whole coreelec thing. That price is absolutely insane
The cost of chips and other hardware has been steadily increasing. Unless you want to go with the mass produced cheap China boxes with absolutely no product updates or support, the price of upper tier boxes continues to go up. The SK3 is for enthusiasts who want the best and are willing to pay for it. For the budget and value minded nothing beats the Onn 4K Pro. If there wasn’t any demand for these higher quality, higher priced devices, the manufacturers wouldn’t make them.

The SK1 was released in July, 2024 and cost $209. Now they sell for over $290. Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV have seen big price hikes. The BuzzTV PS6 Unlimited is $500. Upper tier streaming boxes are no longer inexpensive.

I always thought mine looked a bit like a square waffle iron when I had it. If only it cooked waffles I might still have it. 
The SK3 is more like a paper weight. Heavy.
I am seriously looking forward to comments from those getting their SK3. I bet the new updates will provide an awesome picture and performance.
Is there any reason people want upscaling updated ? Surely those who are buying the sk3 have top tier OLED TVs or flagship projector setups. Wouldn’t the tv , for example, provide superior upscaling?
