Amazon.ca has it now, ridiculous pricing. 
I think Canadians are getting hosed. Amazon USA price is $398.80. Best price is still on the Ugoos Store if you don’t want to buy at Alibaba.

I followed @DavenFlorida lead and ordered from the mini box store. Didn’t have any issues when I ordered the SK1 from there and felt unsure about Alibaba, so stuck with what I know.
Alibaba is a legit site. It’s the Amazon of China. My issue with ordering anything that has to be shipped from there is how much longer it will take to get to you
We sure are. Even at todays exchange rate that’s $100 high.
I guess I was somewhat mistaken about the advent of 8K. Amazon is already selling some 8K Samsung and Sony tvs in larger screen sizes. Naturally, they’re not cheap.

I’ll tell you, at that price I would buy what Miki has. One of those Buzz boxes. Miki says that it even vacuums the floors and does the dishes. 
That comparison lists the price estimate of the SK3 at 150-180 LOL!!

Android Pimp missed the mark a bit on their pricing estimate. That said, in their assessment, the SK3 won 12 rating catagories and the Shield won 7, with 4 ending up tied.
Thanks for sharing this article. That is great news and confirms what some of us have thought for a while, that the human eye isn’t really capable of distinguishing the difference in detail between 4K and 8K.

So many, myself included, get so wound up in chasing “best” that good enough gets trashed. My equipment is already capable of lot more than I really care to pursue.
I agree. We are at the advanced point with streaming technology where we are facing the reality of diminishing returns. It’s to the point where the cost of incremental advancements doesn’t justify the expense. If the SK1 performs as advertised, it will probably be the last streaming box I’ll ever buy.

I received it via regular free shipping in 7 days. Not bad.
I’m on day 7 today with regular free shipping. At least it’s now on it’s way to Florida.
