For those who may be interested, the Ugoos website homepage has announced the release of the long awaited SK 3 streaming box with the new RockChip RK3588S2 cpu. Release is “coming soon”. No idea as to the price at this time but since it will be Ugoos latest flagship device, it won’t be cheap.
Saw it for sale on AliExpress for $411.00.
Is this device worth $300 @sim_bill ?
I have no clue. The cheapest SK 1 (64 gbs internal memory) is around $300 if you can find one. I’ll wait for a detailed review before deciding whether I want to take the plunge. Quite happy with my AM 9’s.

Changed this morning. That link now shows $343 + Wow. They change almost every few minutes.
I see $242 also. No shipping price to the US or tariff fees ? Doesn’t give option on power outlet plugs.
As soon as Amazon.ca gets this, I think I’m in.

I’m thinking when it hits Amazon I might be pulling the trigger also.
If your streaming tv and movies only then NO, all that is not needed to stream.
Someone told me, both of these are suitable to make my car propel. Guess which one I picked.
Since you have an SK1, you’ll be able to educate us and to any differences in performance and if this puppy is worth the price. 
Android 12 ? Wonder if the firmware will be good out of the gate.
I sure hope so, I’m sick of buying boxes that make OTA firmware updates part of the selling point only to find out later that it needs a computer to update it which I don’t have.
