pssssā¦ It might help to name drop dealing with them, something like I heard about you over at tp dot com and very disappointed and now I think Iāll write a book on all this and tell my friendsā¦ OR level up with the support. I can bet the right ear has not been told about this. Any good manager never wants this to go behond them.

Your question is rather generic regarding tips.
Everyone has individual set up tastes. I personally use Wolf Launcher.
Change mouse cursor size
Change font and display size.
Plus a few others.
If you have a specific question ask it here. And if members can help, Iām sure they will.
6 hours later: Found update to Ugoos AM 8 on telegram channel.
Update 1.3.2 below.
Just spoken on line chat with Ugoos. This is a beta version. Guess i will wait a little longer. My box is working fine, apart from one or two minor issues.

I went ahead with the update because I aint scared 
and im happy to report no issues other than the boot screen issue was fixed.

What was your boot screen issue? Mine seemed to load ok. But then again, Iām new to it, so maybe it wasnāt. If you know what i mean.
nothing really serious. I had it set to 2160 and had a popup issues and only at boot, after boot no issues.
Youās donāt know the work that went into this. First I had to convince the wife that the Firecube wasnāt going to work forever with Amazonās fight on piracy. 2nd I had to relinquish my back up box, the Z11 and teach her how to use it. 3rd, I had to wait a couple of weeks for her to fall in love with it. Then the final step, begin telling her how distraught I have become knowing I no longer have a backup box. Well she didnāt want to give up the Z11, so guilt kicked in and the rest of the story is history. Now let this be a blueprint for all you fellows on the Insider.

I found out by trial ad error on their latest update 1.3.2 as i was trying to adjust display size, because their update on my device changed it back to default, plus a few other changes to my original set up.
I have notified them of the following:
If you go into setttings>device preferences>additional settings>display>advanced
The largest size shows 360 dpi. You cannot increase it beyond that figure.
If you go back to settings>display snd sound>font and density, you can increase display size dpi to a maximum of 640
If you now go back to the settings in paragraph 1 of this message, you will see that display size has changed from 360 to 640.
But as soon as you try to reduce it, it automatically changes to 360 dpi and you cannot change it back, unless you go to settings>device preferences>display and sound.
I have mine set in settings>>device prefs>>display and sound>>font and density and have my font on the lowest setting and 320 dpi. Works great for me and I was able to set it higher and it worked, I just reverted to this setup.

Agreed. That step process works. But the other way causes me issues.
Anyway, at least i can use the same settings process as you, if needed.

Best app, hands down is tivimate for viewing iptv. The AM8 is great, watching it right now however there are many good boxes out there. Make sure you check out the BuzzTV boxes and Formuler boxes. The Shield is still pretty much highest rated. All depends on what you want to do.
