Hello, have you tried this?
Hello, have you tried this?
I tried this and I also realized my VPN was turned on. So I turned it off and did the update and then i was able to connect in downloader as it should. Thanks for the help
Have you tried entering in the url box,âTROYPOINT Toolbox
@Ragg I did and trust me nothing worked. I ended up getting the Buzz TV Unlimited and now life is good. Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it!
Iâve been on my wits end off and on today.
Iâm trying to set up a couple of boxes. None of the links on the TP Toolbox connect, all day today on any of five devices, regardless of which VPN server is selected on the router, whether the VPN is engaged at all OR whether I am using an entirely different router.
Changing DNS settings on the first router does no good. The second router is the ISPâs and I canât do anything about that.
Testing with a box that has TDUKâs DNS switcher does not lead to a link that works either.
Did you try thr web OS update that was causing issues connecting to the toolbox.
NoâŚWhere do I update the âWeb OSâ?
Check out this thread.
The 403-Forbidden error has been resolved! After exhausting everything in my bag of tricks, I finally dropped Troy a note explaining the situation, as I assumed that the problem was with the TP Toolbox considering that I could input other shortcut codes and Downloader worked. Troy forwarded my info to Elias (Downloader developer). Elias had me try a few things and send him screen shots for analysis. He indicated that one of the Android System Apps (WebView) was not updated. I opened Google Play Store and scrolled to the icon (my initial) in the upper right hand corner and clicked on it. That identified that an update to WebView was available. I requested it perform the update, but that resulted in a message âCanât install Android System WebViewâ Try aafain, and it is teill dowenât work, see common ways to resolve the problem at âGoogle Play Help. That page provided no useful info (surprise, surprise). Elias suggested a couple of potential fixes. I shut OFF Surfshark. I went to the Android Apps, selected PlayStore, and uninstalled updates. I cleared cache and data. Opened the Playstore and again scrolled to the icon in the upper right and clicked on it. After a few seconds, it identified that the WebView app had an update available. I requested the update, and behold, it updated this time. I backed out of the PlayStore and powercycled the Android box. I then made sure that Surfshark was OFF. I opened Downloader and entered the shortcut code for the TP Toolbox (250931). A miracle occurred! The Toolbox opened normally..
Hello, see the video a few posts up the page.
I will look!
Sorry about the new topic, but when I searched I saw that this one originated in 2022, so I didnât think itâd be still relevant. LOL.
The problem isnât getting to your website, itâs when I punch a link (any that Iâve tried) it never connects. On any of the five devices.
The suggestions didnât work, probably because the solutions address getting to the website, not how the website behaves.
I did try them anyway on one of my devices. After downgrading the Play Store, clicking on my avatar showed âNo Updatesâ where on your video shows webview.
And, as suspected, maybe I didnât make my issues clear or you misunderstood.
Your toolbox page is accessible. Itâs just none of the buttons connect. The status shows âConnectingâŚâ endlessly without connecting. So if I hit âDownload Unlinkedâ I never get to Unlinked. This has been true for 5 devices, trying two routers, VPN locations changed, VPN off, power cycling, etc, etc.
Did this just start today? Maybe try rebooting router. Wondering if this is remnants from Cloudflare outage from yesterday.
Also, try opening the Toolbox on your phone through your cellular data and see if you can download files through browser - TROYPOINT Toolbox if you can that leads me to believe something screwy on your home network/Internet.
Hard for me to troubleshoot problems like this when itâs working perfectly fine for me.
@elginherd this may be a silly question but have you tried deleting the Toolbox and reloading it? Iâm certain that youâve tried that already.
Iâm sorry that I couldnât get to answer yesterday. I was finally able to get the links to work with all the stuff that I needed. For whatever reason, stuff just worked the next morning, except for the old Dynalink that I had to reset yet again.
I have a BIL & friend that I wanted to give these to so they could enjoy a little TV.
Does anyone have the downloaded code for Troyâs recommended apps. Iâm setting up a new device and canât find the code.
The Troypoint Toolbox downloader code is 250931
Be sure to save it to your favorites.
Having trouble downloading apps from Troypoint Toolbox. Tried downloading XCIPTV & Sparkle TV.
I get a window that says Status. connectingâŚand it never connects.
Also, IPTV SMARTERS PRO stopped working on my ONN box. It is not the ONN PRO 4K. Never had an issue before now.
One issue I have heard about that may cause this behaviour is using an ad blocker. If you have one turn it off, also if using a VPN try turning it off and then connecting and if that works thena once done be sure to turn your VPN back on.
If using a VPN try disabling that temporarily and see if that fixes the problem.
