I keep getting asked to verify trakt on kodi apps ie seren and asgard it has started happening inthe last coulpe of weeks?
Do you use Trakt and it keeps asking to authorize again or you dont use it and dont want to be asked?
When is it asking? When you load kodi or open the addons? Using kodi 21?
Is there an option to not have it ask again?
Are you using a build?

Its when i open an app and i can’t find an option to cancel it i am logged onto trakt on all of my apps and also in the diggz xenon v3 build

Ok i guess you mean the Xenon Free version 3.0.
I’ll see if i can replicate your error on that build.
Have you verified your account is synched to all the addons? If you download or enable an addon after you authorize Trakt they wont be included.
Go to Trakt Logins at botton of home screen and then view trakt logins.
Actually it cant be the Xenon Free version as Asgard and Seren need a debrid account.
What kodi verion are you using?
I keep getting the same…very annoying
I am using the latest omega and yes i have checked the trakt app at the bottom right of screen and all my addons have a tick next to them
Ok. Unfortunately i can not replicate your problem yet.
I restored the Diggz Debrid Only Xenon 3.0 build for Kodi 21 onto a Troy Fork. So far i am not getting any Trakt error messages. Didnt even know i had this build as a back up but i did.
I did have to reauthorize Seren Omega by itself and after doing so it said “Rebuilding Data Base…”. After a minute it was finisged and seren was synched with Trakt.
I’ll keep checking the build a few times this week to see if your error message happens to me.
Also, you mentioned that all the Trakt accounts had a “Tick” next to them. In a Diggz build when you view the trakt logins it clearly shows the word “Authorized” or “Not Authorized” next to each addon. Are you sure you looked in the right place?

I also keep getting pop ups on kodi saying to Re-authenticate Trakt.
I re authorized in the actual trakt addon, and re authroized trakt on all my plugins that use trakt (fen, the crew. umbrella) and the pop up continue.
I get the pop up when first starting kodi, and also when viewing any movie either through FEN, the crew, or umbrella.
I might add that Trakt is still functioning correctly, it is asking me to rate movies or tv shows after I watch the, and the rating are successfully added to Trakt.
it’s just annoying to have this pop up on the screen every 20-30 minutes.

Not sure if you are using a build or not, but is it possible you forgot to authorize for an addon? You may have added it after you set up trakt or forgot all about.
This is interesting because my dad called me up earlier and told me this is happening to him. Maybe it is an actual glitch with Trakt itself. I don’t think I’ve ever had this problem with my own setup unless I wipe Kodi app data and start fresh.

No I’m not using any builds. I use FEN lite, The Crew, and Umbrella. I have re auth each of these, and also the main Trakt addon.
This just started a couple of days ago, and I haven’t updated Kodi or added any other addons.
I appreciate you input.
I googled it and there are some old links about this problem. Not really sure if they ever did or still work.
Try a search and see. Some mentioned Umbrella as part of the issue but i have that addon w/o your issue. However i use a build with Account Manager. Not sure if that makes a difference though.
I am sure you did already but just in case, make sure your addons are using latest versions.

Reauthorising Trakt in an app doesn’t really solve the issue.
I contacted Trakt about an app issue with Trakt, and this is my go to way of resolving it, as advised by Trakt.
Try this and i hope it works for you.
"Deauthorise trakt in the app where you are having issues.
Log into your trakt account.
Go into settings and scroll across the menu until you find " connected apps".
Scroll down, find the connected app and click on the " X" on the right. That should now remove the app from trakt.
Now go back to your app and reauthorise trakt."

The message comes up when I first start up kodi, and then when I play movies or series on FEN, The Crew, and Umbella, so I am going to de auth trakt in all of my addons, then delete in trakt account, and then re auth.
I’ll post the results as soon as I get it done.

Ok. Hope you get it sorted. I’m not sure if i am right, but i would have thought once you authorise Kodi, you shouldn’t need to authorise all your add ons.

Umbrella is now requiring Metahandler to be installed. It appears that this is an update to the addon and part of the reason the Trakt issue is happening. What I had to do was revoke my Trakt authorization from Umbrella then force close Kodi and reopen it. Upon reopening it prompted me to install Metahandler. I was then able to authorize Trakt again and everything is back to normal. But I suppose you could also just attempt to update Umbrella manually and see what happens.
