I don’t think that’s the case. Many times when experimenting with M3U and M3U8 playlists in Tivi I have had a playlist load but would not play. So I would check the URL and try again. Sometimes the playlist is simply dead although the link is good. Depends on the provider and how good they are at maintaining their server and doing maintenance.
