Iāll give that a try, I cleared the cache a few times, rebooted etc, with no change. It wouldnāt be an issue except itās the bedroom tv and would hate to get image burn on the screen due to that.
Might set the video decoder to different setting . Mine on the 4k proās is set to hardware .
I increased the buffer size last night, started a show when I went to bed, when I awoke it was still playing. So hopefully that solved the issue. Thanks again for the tip.
Multiview: Iād like to be able to āSaveā a few Multiview collections, so I donāt have to rebuild every time.
Device name: Allow the device display in tivimate.com to show the device name Iāve assigned, not the generic āAmazon Fire TV Stick 4Kā
Thanks for your information
Hey @teehar good morning. Another thing you may want to consider is switching from MPEG-TS to HLS in Xtream Codes Parameters>Output format. Here is why.
What is HLS?
HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) is a protocol designed for streaming video content. It is used to deliver multimedia streams consisting of audio and video elements and other data, such as subtitles or closed captioning. HLS enables a media player to switch between different codecs and bitrates. With HLS streaming, viewers can watch the highest quality stream possible based on their current connection speeds. It makes HLS ideal for delivering video content to various devices with different hardware capabilities.
Rewiind would be awesome.
Action during a ball game that takes place a split second sure would be great to rewind and play it back real slow.
Canāt you do that if your supplier provides that service? Catchup.
I never had a service that ihas catch up. But according to Troyās article, itās itās inferring that on a live broadcast, you can rewind and watch it over and over again I think in one another article that he wrote, he said that I think it was sparkle IPTV player has that.
btw Hi Miki
Howās things in the Great White North?
If a service has catchup then using a player like Just you can rewind and play. I havenāt tried it as I donāt do catchup. Itās freakin cold here. Minus 28 °C at the moment and we had 40 CMs of snow in the last 2 days. And good morning to you. Good to see you.
@Nonya_Biz did ya get my PM?
Yes you can rewind/ skip back using sparkle with the timeshift enabled. You need to have some extra storage for that as well. That is one of the features I would love to see tivimate add.
With my service having catchup and switching to the external player and choose Just Video Player the rw, ff, pause etc, works in TiVimate.
oh yes for sure. that is why I love a good service with catchup. But for others that donāt have a service with catchup sparkle and timeshift is an alternative.
Oh gotcha. I misunderstood, which doesnāt surprise me. Tx @teehar
