TDUK DNS Switcher Available Now!

Thanks for the advice @TechDoctorUK :+1::heart_hands:

Doesn’t work on the Samsung Phone anyway.

This app is designed for TV based devices. It will not function on phones / tablets.

Any idea why i am still getting Analiti ads in my Nvidia shield tv pro?

It says connected and I started using encrypted dns.

I try to test and it says i dont have an app that can do this.

Did you enable Developer options and make sure Network debugging is enabled?

When I test, it opens the browser on my device and takes me to dnscheck.tools

Yes i did that as well. When i just checked Network debugging to make sure it lists my ISP address not my vpn address.

Could this be why?

Odd not for me. I use BrowseHere as my web browser.

Mine shows my lan address and port.

Yeah now I’m confused. Its not my ipv4 or ipv6 address. I don’t know what the number is. Something in my network i guess.

Can you install “TV Bro” from the google playstore.

Open TV Bro to make sure it starts OK.

Then go back to my app and click on “Test DNS”

It should launch TV bro and show you which DNS servers you are using.

I never tested Analiti myself but someone left a comment saying that the ads were removed.

I will test that on my Shield and report back

Ok TVBro was added and opend for the test.

For some reason when i typed in dnscheck.tools on my BrowseHere it gave me my actual IP address and partial IP adress even though i was using a vpn.

When i used tvbro for the test it gives my vpn ip and what i assume is your partial client IP address in Brazil.

The DNS resolvers are the same in both browsers.

I also had to add tv bro to my onn 4k (not pro) and it seems to be working better.

Both the tv bro and BrowseHere had the vpn ip address and partial client IP in Brazil using dnscheck.tools. I also didnt see an ad on anaiti.

I may have something set up wrong on the Nvidia.

Edit: i did the same to my onn 4k pro and it seems to be working fine too.

Would this app interfere with the Streamlocator app/ service?

Do a search for TDUK DNS Switcher using your browser. Then you will find it and can download it from your phone directly to your device. Phone and device Play Store are different.

Force stop Analiti and clear its cache. Then do your DNS Switcher. Then reboot Analiti.

Thanks I will try that. But i am still confused why my BrowseHere shows my actual ip address instead of my vpn. But only on the Nvidia. The Onns are fine.

Edit: Stupid me had the vpn split tunnel bypass the BrowseHere app.
Glad in figured it out and no idea why i had it doing that.

Yes that seemed to have solved the issue with Analiti. Thanks!

After testing it will interfere with the Streamlocator app. FYI
