Amazon.com not working on PC for me either. Switched to OpenVPN protocol and it works.
Yes it was just released this morning. They have also sent this update out to Google Play Store but it will take time to be pushed to all devices.

I’m having problems with ss on my phone trying to connect to amazon.com with no luck . Tried changing protocols with no luck. Disconnect and I have no prob 
I canceled my 39mth sub until such time as they fix the Amazon stuff. After new update installed I can’t even access my “home” or open search, or even get to the App store. Spent a total of 4 hrs in chat trying everything. No luck.
I hope they are working on this problem at least I still have IP Vanish and we have 30 days to cancel SS

They apparently are working on it. I cancelled and reinstalled ProtonVPN. The latest update messed up my FireTV max big time, and I’m not shutting it off, accessing search and then the app store for an update and leave me wide open, only to turn it back on after I’m done. That’s crazy.
You said you were talking with ss customer service what do they say. This sounds like a Nvidia shield update fiasco. I hope not glad I still have my IP Vanish 
I’m not cancelling just yet hopefully it will be fixed soon just going to use IP Vanish. Seems to be working ok on my shield though
After 4 hrs of testing all they said was that their tech team are aware of the issue and working to resolve it. Now that was just with the amazon.com fiasco now there are more issues after the update I informed them about and you could almost hear them moan.
very strange, I am able to goto playstore etc without issue although it is through router. Must just be the mobil app with issues. My phone goes thru the router at home and I rarely ust it when im out.
I can get to google, it’s the amazon app store and about everything Amazon. I even got kicked out by some Amazon module. Forget what it said.
I think the issue extends to mobile versions and/or android os. My computer doesn’t have this problem. Its a codding issue for sure and its global, id give it sometime. I know alot of you depend on these apps so i get the frustration.

I think you are right Dracoo, but the impact was far greater on the FireTV OS, although yes it’s built on Android, so you may be spot on.

I just tried Amazon.com via my JioPages browser, after the update…& now the site comes up. That was the only thing that didn’t work for me…which didn’t really matter cause I do all my shopping from my laptop.

Fireos is drived from android which uses app functionality the same way generic boxes os use app functionality. To make a vpn work properly on these devices requires more coding detail. The computer version is different and doesnt need to be scaled back for power consumption so its easier to push out mac/windows programs with little issues.

My Amazon.com on PC/browser doesn’t work correctly. I mentioned above it worked on OpenVPN, but that was just the main Amazon page then no product pages or anything worked.

I will test more tomorrow. I strongly believe its a android/mobile os bug.
Cool. I just don’t want to get back into a tower as last time I did I didn’t sleep for days playing around and learning. I wonder how SS is doing on say the KM2.
Im not sure, it seems they are aware tho. Everyone just keep teating and watch for updates
