Been using Trakt with KODI for about a decade. I’ve been told I use it wrong and maybe I do but it works for me. I don’t add shows/movies to watchlist. I add them to My Collection. It simply works and shows are marked as watched. When a Show is completely finished I remove it from my collection. All the episodes remain marked as watched

After much research on Kodi & Trakt, I learned to put the movies in Watchlist and the shows in Collection.
It’s been working great for me but I’ve only been doing it about six months. When I watch a movie, it drops off the Watchlist which is perfect. When I watch a show, it stays in Collection and is marked as watched.
Now I’m not positive if I go back and look at a movie that I watched previously if it shows as “watched” or not. I hope that I would remember if I’ve watched it or not but as we get older, you never know. Thanks.
I put everything in Trakt watchlist and everything drops off and when a new season is released it reappears in progress, next episode and calendar but that is using Kodi.
I have found Trakt doesn’t work as well using Stremio and doesn’t have some of the Trakt features found in Kodi.
Totally agree. Trakt in Fenlight works perfectly. Trakt in Stremio is a total mystery to me. I do not get the Stremio Library vs. using Trakt in Stremio. I have like 100 movies in the Stremio library that I’ve already watched that I guess I need to delete. I need to read the super long installation thread here on Stremio in its’ entirety. Thank you.
