Stremio problem with All Debrid

I’m a new Stremio user. I currently subscribe to both Real Debrid and All Debrid. When searching for a TV show or movie, Real Debrid links work (when I can find them), however if I select an All Debrid link (using TorrentioAD), it loads the link and shows the captions, however the video only shows an orange screen that says “An unexpected error occured, please try again later”.

I’ve generated several APIkeys which have all been accepted. What am I doing wrong?

@BobC , i’m not a user, but i am a steady reader here, and seems you are not alone, a few are having issues the past day or so….

Thanks for the reply. This has been going on (for me) for the past several weeks. I finally got around to inquiring about it.

Here’s where they’re discussing it

OP, do yourself a favor & install Streamthrutorz addon, it’s free, and Debridio it’s like $10 or $15 a year and you’ll get your links to work. You use RD, PM or AD, or what ever debrid service you use with them.

Torrentio has been having issues for a few months now, sometimes it works but most times it gives a player error. I got sick & tired of the errors on Torrentio & searching thru links to find one that works is why I went with the 2 above mentioned addons.

Good luck.

@itzme, Thanks so much for the link to the discussion of playback errors in Stremio. The discussion led me to the solution to my problem. As discussed in the messages, enabling “Tunneled Playback” in Stremio settings solved the problem.

If you’re using Surfshark (or another VPN app), check and see which server it connects to. I had a problem a few months ago where I couldn’t get Stremio to play anything. For whatever reason, I finally checked Surfshark and saw that it was giving me an IP address through a server in Texas (I can’t remember the exact city).

I had never seen this before, and I killed the connection and then reconnected to a server in Denver (which is where I usually connect). I went back to Stremio and everything worked flawlessly (again). I’m not saying that’s your problem… I’m just relating what worked for me!

I have had similar issues as well. I switched to a site that was geo locked and had to switch my vpn location to Chicago. I was then able to access the site. I forgot I had switched as I had no issues the rest of the day. I then switched to watching Stremio but Torrentio wasn’t showing and comet fusion was giving some weird warning that my public fair use allotment was used up and I haven’t used comet in forever. Switched back to Vancouver and all was well in the neighborhood.

OK Mr. Robinson….:grimacing:

I have still been having issues with Stremio and after many weeks of frustration and being unable to point to a cause I remember something @SoloWarrior had said in another thread. He used just player. So I thought I’d give it a try and hot damn it worked way better than exoplayer which is the internal player for stremio. I never could get VLC to work. So thanks to @SoloWarrior for your advice.

@Miki I wish I could take credit for this but honestly never heard of “just player?” But I’m glad it’s working for you
