Stremio not working

Ok. I’m confused. You clicked on a movie that is listed and you only have 4 torrentio links?

Yes. I have been through and my add ons and they appear to be there, because each add on has a logo to uninstall. Presumably that means they are installed.

make sure that rar addon is enabled. I seem to find it best for quality…at least lately

Yes, i presume that “TPB+” is a torrentio stream.

@TXRon . Thks. Already done.

No it isn’t. Have you scrolled down on the right side? What you see in the main window with pay sources at the top are just a small portion of what sources you have. Scroll down below TPB+

Ok. I have scrolled right down below TPB+ and my last item is " install add ons". Sorry to be a nuisance.

Oh you aren’t a nuisance at all. So no torrentio?
Ok so I’m going to send you a pic in a PM as I cannot post this publicly. If you don’t see what I showed you in that pic then you don’t have torrentio installed. Go into you addon module and at the top click on the search magnifying glass and enter the following link:
https://danamag.github.io/stremio-addons-list/catalog.json

Torrentio is in there. Forget about All Debrid or a premium service for now. Lets get one thing working.
Remember to always use a vpn with this app.

I have replied by message. Now i need to reinstall All Debrid. Mmmm

Forget doing all debrid for now. Torrentio will provide you with plenty of links.

@Miki :grin::grin::+1::pray: will do. Enjoy the weekend.

@Miki …one final question. I have opensubtitles v 0.24.0 installed. But any show or movie does not show them.

Any advice?

@Miki I know how to turn the subtitles on.

By clicking the subtitles box top right, whilst playing a movie etc. But every time i do that it shows " subtitles off".

By turning it on, everything works.

I just do not understand why i have to enable subtitles every time by this method.

I did some research and it seems that firestick/Andtoid TV devices and subtitles are automatically enabled; whereas, those of us using an Android OS system have to manually enable subtitles every time.

@Dak7385 Go into settings and and turn on Closed Captions (check mark) to have CCs always on

As an aside, Torrentio is a product of the folks at The Pirate Bay and TPB+ is an offshoot from that. TPB+ returns only the links with the highest number of seeders in each bandwidth, 4k, 1080, 720 etc. So you should only get one 4k link, one1080 link, one 720 link, etc.
Personally I don’t use TPB+ as I pick my own link and want a broader choice

@BigDave . Thank you. Will look into that.

My apologies, the new update no longer has an option for CCs in settings. Guess mine has been on so long it stays on. LOL
If you need CCs as I do, look for links that include the term “Galaxy TV” and when the video starts manual switch to them. They stay in sync even on series that have commercial breaks planned in

In settings, Default Subtitles (2nd item from top) should be ENGLISH
Seems like I could get this correct with enough chances
