Don’t know about Fire TV but there is a setting in Shield’s that states, “Stay Awake on Music” (on/off)

ess the Sleep Timer on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max:

  1. Press and hold the Home Button on the Voice Remote for 3 seconds to launch the Quick Access Menu
  2. Scroll down and select Sleep Timer
  3. The Sleep Timer function turns off the TV in: 5 , 10 , 15 , 30 , 60, 90, 120, 150, 180 and 240 minutes
  4. Also you can go to Home > Settings > Sleep Timer

From Amazon forum. Looks like you cannot turn it off.

It can be turned off using the ADB Shell as described in the link I posted.

Thank you for your suggestion but I program Firesticks for ppl and it’s easy to add the Shell app and use ADB commands. Many changes can be made using ADB commands, way more than a single app whose use isn’t really needed.

This is incorrect. If you select sleep it puts the Firestick to sleep. It may have worked, as you say in 2023, but now, 12/24 it doesn’t
